Here's the facts:
A few days shy of 30 days ago I ordered what was being presented on Borla's web site as an H-Pipe, replacement for the stock resonator. We all know these X - H, whatever. Product showed as ready to purchase and ship (not cheap I might add)
Knowing Borla's rep I jumped in and purchased. Took my money instantly. Waited for shipping notification. Ten or so days NO notifications. Reached out to CS responded with "No Idea why it hasn't shipped" will look into it.
Got another CS response - "Oh - this is a new product we have never done an H-Pipe before- therefore, we don't have stock at the moment should ship within a few days".
So I was pissed they presented something as being in stock when it wasn't took my money and never gave an explanation that it would be delayed cause product wasn't in stock.
Waited "the few days" nothing showed on the item. Contacted CS again, guy ghosted me for a few more days, prompted him again, after a few days he answers: "So we never received the product from manufacturing therefore didn't ship gong to get an answer as to why" Ghosted me again for about another four days. I tracked him down and pushed him for an answer, after two more days of BS ghosting, finally got the REAL STORY ...
The design went to manufacturing, product showed up and they shipped to earlier than me orders, those people got their pipes and had fitment issues, (as in the pipes were not sized right at the outlet/inlet) whole shabang had to be redesigned and sent back to manufacturing in TN, and they haven't received the new units yet.
So the long and short of it is this:
Borla sold a product on their web site they didn't have, didn't test, and couldn't ship. Collected the money and held it for 30 days, without giving "THE REAL" explanation.
I cancelled the order and now have to wait for a CC refund which takes 5-10 business days putting a total of 40 days on the BS lying, chiseling experience from what is considered by some as one of the better exhaust manufacturing vendors in the US - how far we have fallen'...
