So after the latest PCM update I lost the heart beat sound on entry. I saw others mention, but didn't hear any solutions. I opened FORSCAN and couldn't find a solution. I did note thst if i'm in the car and press the start button for accessories, it does make the thumbing sound. How do we report software issues to Ford?

I get the heartbeat (car, plus mine) when I start my GT, not upon entry.

Yeah, mine was AWOL for about 3 days after the update. Came back on it's own.

Every once in a while, my heartbeat disappears for a day and then comes back. Seems like this is just a thing that commonly happens. I don't think it's because of the update.

It happens to me from time to time as well. I think because of the battery going low, I don't drive my GT everyday. What is annoying, even after fully charging the battery overnight on a charger, it won't return immediately. Only after some longer drive.

I have heard the chime (non heartbeat) indicates a low battery condition. I have confirmed through personal experience that these batteries seldom hold a full charge.

Come to think of it, last time I lost the heartbeat I did get a low battery notice via the app. I don't drive mine often either and are mostly short trips with the AC full blast.

It may be not an issue (nor in the sense of "losing" it): the "beep beep" seems to override the "heartbeat" for signaling something to the driver, so when there's this "alert" you won't hear the heartbeat (in example when you're low on fuel).
The issue is that when this happen you have no indication of any warning or something to pay attention of... people are speculating that it's about "low voltage" on battery, but personally I'm losing it while normal driving, or I would regain the heartbeat while the car has been sitting in the garage for days (and so the battery is certainly lower then when i normally drive).
So far no infos.
