I recently learned that the fender flares have an adhesive under them as well as the pins. Seems like once that adhesive goes (whether from using Brake Buster on your wheels or just from water or age I don't know) then the flares don't sit right.

Anyone found a good work around or a better replacement than what Ford put together? I've almost got the "deficincies list" down to 0 however this is one of the ones that makes me scratch my head. Jank design!

Are your flares under the fender liner or on the outside supposedly they are supposed to be under but mine are also on the outside but are fine for now.
Maybe try putting them under the liner

mine are on the outside of the liner. I’m considering buying another set and having them installed fresh now that the Whipple is installed etc. I just want want this to repeat.

I think the flares stick to the metal and the liner doesn’t overlap except at the mounting points?
