new set of Pilot Sport 4S for “winter” to replace the Trofeos

. 😅
I am going to be doing the same thing - The Trofeos definitely do not like cold weather, and I know from having 4S tires on my Audi that they do well during the winter (well, Georgia winter). And yet I still feel like I am going to miss the Trofeos and that absolute sticky grip when they are hot. LOL. What a ridiculous set of tires. I must have a juvenile delinquent streak in my personality.

@Junkyard Dog the 4s's definitely don't pick up debris like the Trofeos, but they handle just as good in my opinion. I am running them on my DH and love them.

The arm rest extension look badass! But where do you put your drink 🍸 🤔
It actually comes out in about 2s and is just held in place by the cupholders and original arm rest. So it's easy enough to just toss in the back seat should the need arise!

@Yamazuki how do you go about removing the start/stop button or does this one fit over the top?

Nope.
It does not just fit over the top, you have to remove the OEM start/stop button to put this one in.
And there are, of course, 2 ways to do that.

The right way, which involves removing the gauges/infotainment screen, a/c vents, and part of the center console; and the' f that shiznit' way of taking some masking tape, a rag, a small flat blade screwdriver, and just poppin' that b!tch out!

With a small screwdriver, you can get in there enough to pop the button off its tabs, but you do have to be careful that you don't mar up the area around the button.

Hey all, I used to really enjoy a Mach 1 thread on the 6g forum where we shared mods and problems or solutions for our cars.
made some good friends too. So I thought I’d try one here on 7g.
Anyways, just traded my 21 Mach 1 premium Auto for 24 Dark Horse premium manual 4 weeks ago..
I’ve done PPFon the front and tented the windows so far.
Have a Steeda H-pipe and high flow filters to go in yet and I’m going to rip out carbon traps.
This weekend I tinted the reflectors with a kit for $25.

Picked up Black Betty from the shop. Had a blower, headers and interchiller installed.

God smiled at me, someone did 50 on a 2 lane road signed at 65. In a passing zone with nobody coming.

Holy F***.

Is the Interchiller worth it?

Which blower?

TBD & Whipple. Respectively.

Dyno was really good, but had to be done in 7th due to wheel spin. It took 2 days to get a clean run but they got the intercooler input to ~34F. It complicated the install more than a bit.
The good news is the blower, headers, i/c - all free!
The bad news is I now have a new most expensive t-shirt at over 20g's
