Dark Horse is not intended to be everyone's first choice or best value; that's why Ford offers so many models and options for Mustangs. The wife and dogs enjoy the heated seats in our Super Duty. For more aggressive driving, I like the Recaros, manual trans and handling pakage in the Dark Horse.

I got a good deal taking a Premium/Recaro car taking it out of stock. With the discount I got the 700a and Recaros for half price.
If I were to order a car with the same discount- 4K off I would order the 600a car.

All this talk about wants and needs is great, but at the end of the day, and two door car with a marginal backseat and trunk that holds 4 bags of groceries, is a want, not a need . I happen to have four wants and have two need vehicles and have no regrets.

Just my opinion, but I have been retired for 10 years with grown children and grandsons that love grandpa’s “race cars”!

What percentage of DH buyers will regularly track the DH? I bet it's a super low number. And for those who don't track it, the DHHP is nothing more than slightly wider tires & wheels. I think some want it just so they can say, "Mine has the DHHP." But, hey, it's thier money, and - honestly - nobody should be telling them how to spend it.
I only track mine. Only reason I purchased. I'm sure I'm of the few, but we're out there. HP is wider wheels, more aero, lower stance, and magnaride.

There is a difference between a 'want' and a 'need', but many (most) folks don't understand the difference.

Then those same people who 'needed' something like the HP complain when whey have to replace $2,000 worth of tires after a few thousand miles of daily driving.

I say I don't need it because I don't need it. I'm not going to track the car. Why would I need it if I'm not going to track the car?

Sweet ride, @timd38 !
10,000 on mine and plenty left on tires. Michelin 4S

Sorry, I edited my post. Not having Recaros is a great thing for me and critical. My real question is if I will regret not getting premium.
I have a '25 DH Premium with standard seats. It was my choice not to get Recaros, I simply don't fit in them well.

I specifically looked for one with the standard seats. Don’t like the fit of the Recaros and heated/ventilated seats are hard to live without plus I prefer the Dinamica material.

Curious in others input: I just bought a 2026 DH, cloth seats. I find the seats to have very poor support after about 20 minutes, and Im looking for Recaros, BUT: My big fear is that the lower cushion bolster impinging on my thighs is going to get annoying. Im 6'2/215. 46 coat size, 36 waist.

Dose anyone know if the Premium/Leather GT seats are any more supportive than the cloth?

Bought it used, 2024DH. Mine has recaro, 305/315-19 tires. Is it premium?
You definitely have the handling package. This is the premium package below. Easiest way is to check if your food pedals are aluminum and if you have approach detection. Or check your windows sticker.

Equipment Group 700A - Deluxe Package - Includes: Aluminum Foot Pedals; Approach Detection with Welcome/Farewell Exterior Lighting; Climate Controlled (Heated and Cooled; Driver and Front Passenger only); Memory: Driver Seat (three (3) settings), Premier Trim with Color Accent Group (Accent Stitched Center Console Lid, Wrapped Knee Bolsters with Accent Stitch, and Shifter Boot, Color-accented Seats, Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel - Top Hid 5-Piece with Black Alley Bezel, and Unique Color-accented Door-Trim); Security Package (Active Anti-Theft System, Electronic-Locking Center Console, and Wheel Locking Kit)

When I driver my Daughters car 2020 Mustang with Premium/Leather seats it kills my back when I get out after I drive for more then 30 minutes.

In my Recaros I have driven for 3 hours plus and no pain no problem's. (I am a little smaller then you.)

Just my case. I am sure different for different people.
