Please point me to any independent testing of a Shelby modified Mustang where they take it around the track

Lol, ok. Yeah, you need to go on and check that for yourself. Various ways to look it up. If you want to sit in the space you are in and think only Ford has taken a car around a track, well, not sure what to tell you. Just keep on believing.

They aren't for track use. That's why you don't see them tested. Shelby didn't bother sending them out. They're garage furniture.

Again, you need to educate yourself before you say things that truly make you look foolish. Or perhaps, you do not care, and you are really just trolling.

Either way, I'm done here. Stay oblivious or open your mind.

Why can't you just prove the point you're trying to make?

The same could be said of you. Why can't YOU just prove your point? What do you have, beyond your OWN opinion, to support what you are saying?

A quick Google search of Shelby GT350 T/A would give a plethora of information you seem to think does not exist. Somehow, I doubt a quick search would prove your point.

Still waiting for track times and not marketing fluff

I'm saying that Bigfoot doesn't exist.

You're saying Bigfoot exists.

Ford also said Bigfoot doesn't exist.

You're saying if you search Google for Bigfoot, it will return results. That doesn't make Bigfoot exist.

I'm asking for an independent track test of a Shelby American Mustang with measurable results. Not the Hot Rod test where they got to drive it in the rain and complained about the tires. You've chose the $210,000 TA, which is fine, wonder who's stupid enough to pay that much money for a stock engine GT with a Whipple...but that's another topic.

I just want to see where they tested it against a GT500 (or even a Dark Horse) and then say "The Shelby was 2 seconds faster around the track than the GT500/Dark Horse. Shouldn't be to hard to find that right?

Also, you know Shelby doesn't even build the 350TA, right? Right? They send it to Turnkey Motorsports to have them do it. Because Shelby doesn't race.

And no warranty, crappy transmission, no forged pistons, you're stuck at about 700hp on 93...
huh?
I put over 800 down on 93, with my DHSCP - Dark Horse SC Poverty edition. On street tires too :p
Yeah, no warranty, etc. it's also paid for.

What does this all matter anyway? If you don't like the price don't buy it. If you think it's overpriced, ok. Again, don't buy it.

Enjoy the Mustang you have and stop worrying about the other guy's Mustang maybe?
IDK.

FWIW, I think the price is a bit optimistic. 76k in options. That's more in options than my entire Dark Horse from '24. Yikes.

Oh well, the drive to everywhere is just fun. Good on you if you buy an SC. Enjoy it.

Over 800 to the tires? Not without octane booster, ethanol, race gas, or some dyno shenanigans you didn't.
Yes
Yes, without octane booster.
No ethanol.
No race gas
No dyno shenanigans.
Well... It took several tries to prevent tire spin.

Respectively.
Whipple, headers, interchiller & stock stage 2 whipple tune.
826 to the wheel, 850 on the run uncorrected.
Mustang(brand) Dyno.

Still sounds sketchy even with the IC, especially on a MD. Anything over 750 is suspect. Guys aren't even cracking 800 with a can of boostane.

Just going by what other people are reporting with their stage 2 cars on (mostly) dynojets.

Have you run it down the 1/4 or 60-130?

No, my PS4S were about 6 or 7k in when she went on the dyno. It took several tries to get a clean pull again, due to tire spin. Right now I am spinning at part throttle 60mph and still rolling into it just makes it spin less. And I didn't replace the half shafts.
I do know that the IAT2 was about 34F when the run started, so there's that. It basically knocks about 30-38F off ambient.

Obviously personal preference, but I'd pay $200k for a used Huracan before I would pay $125k for any current Mustang. I just do NOT see the value in these prices here for these cars. It's gotten out of control.
I don't see the value of these cars being justified at above 60K for a basic GT 401A car with a couple of options like the B&O audio.

As I've said before, my car was $58,515 MSRP,

Ragtop, 401A and an automatic were must haves as was the optional three stage red paint that was a $495 dollar option, now $995 or more.

My 2024 would be about $65K MSRP today. And the newer cars have had features removed from the car completely or taken out of the 401A package and are now stand alone options

The $2900 401A package no longer includes the B&O stereo but the radio is now something like a $1160 dollar option, and you guys that want 3 pedals are getting boned because the 10 speed is now standard where it was an option before, so you are paying for the 10 speed and not getting anything in return.

73K puts me in a 1LT vette, with nice options and 3 stage red paint. 71K msrp, $3995 in options, and the 73 number is out the door with a 20 day plate

Yes it is an 8 speed DCT but I can live with that

That is a LOT of car for the money, I can't say the same about a Mustang

Prices of the (top model) GT500/DHSC vs the base GT and the 'special' model, and how much of an increase it is to go to the price of the top model

Not bad, 12% cumulative over 13 years from 43-55, not bad at all 👍

Also comes out to 3.25% annually…. During a very high inflation period
