There's mustang shows, Ford shows, non specific car shows. Track days, dunkin donuts meet ups. Late night street take overs. You can't throw a rock without hitting some kind of car show.
I've been to a few street take-overs. After we arrived we then took over.

Back to the car...my question is: If this is a performance pack convertible, did it come with a spoiler and a shorty antenna?
I've only seen coupes with the spoiler.

No PP spoiler on the convertible from factory.

O.K. My good friend has a 2024 GT Premium with the blade spoiler. He would like to find a PP spoiler that will fit without drilling.
Does anyone have a source for this option? Where did Clawfford get this spoiler?

I found my PP spoiler from "Extreme Online Store" (through E-bay, I think).
https://extremeonlinestore.com/coll...lid-wing-spoiler?_pos=10&_fid=33a516595&_ss=c

The vendor had 3 styles at the time; matte black, gloss black, and fake carbon fiber. I ordered Daisy with the spoiler delete... if you have a blade spoiler, I have no idea what holes you may or may not already have. I went this route specifically because I have a CONVERTIBLE... I have a third tail-light in the trunk to contend with.

If your friend has a COUPE, there are a TON of PP spoilers on E-bay that people have removed to replace with a Darkhorse spoiler. I'm guessing he may not have to drill any new holes if he goes this route, but you'd have to deal with the color because they include a piece of the trunklid, as seen in the pic below. I seem to recall the term "takeoff" used a lot, if you want to try including that to your search parameters.

I DID buy the Stubby brand antenna from Amazon. Seems to have fine range, though I very rarely use radio.

I had the car out a bit over an hour today in 97 degree temps, and remembering this conversation I felt it all over before putting her back in the garage. It felt barely room temperature, let alone hot from either the sun or any heat the instrument cluster might be generating itself. Yesterday it was exposed to 94 degree temps pretty much all day. Whatever they make it out of seems well insulated. Keeping heat out? Keeping heat in? I'm not going to bother playing that guessing game.

Will it explode some day? Until it does, I'm not going to be afraid and assume that the worst is going to happen. At the price Saleen is getting now, though, I'll consider myself very fortunate to have gotten in on the ground floor. All I can say is, if you have the money to burn, and want to splurge, I haven't had any problems myself after a couple days in a row of sweltering heat and humidity. If you're the slightest bit concerned, wait a year and ask me how it's going. I'm giving no guarantees, but I'm not going to worry until there's something to worry about.
Thanks for sharing. It looks REALLY good. I'll probably buy one if it comes down in price to $500 or less.

It's THE LITTLE THINGS that count...

Here are some of the little things that hardly anyone ever gets to see but myself.

  • Tuxmat Badges - I really LOVE my Tuxmat full-coverage floor mats, but I have always disliked manufacturer branding. (I own no shirts with a "Nike swoosh" logo!). The Ford logo on my windshield is the first time I've had that on a car since my 1983 Fox body convertible. And I will NEVER permit dealership stickers, or even license plate frames. So naturally, I didn't care to display the Tuxmat logo. They unscrewed easily from the back, and I found a nice chromed metal badge online to cement over the holes.

  • Wheel Center Caps - My car is a Mustang, not a Ferrada. I created this design on my computer and submitted it to a custom center-cap maker on ETSY to cover up the aftermarket logo.

  • Don't you just HATE those multilingual warning labels on your sun visors? I made these covers completely from scratch on my computer, then printed them out onto vinyl sticker paper with my laser printer. The whole design is then further protected by a sheet of clear UV resistant contact paper. MUCH prettier!

So with the link you provided, that was essentially the one you purchased. I'm trying to find one like yours that's no drill install though. I'll just keep looking, that link provided shows drill in install.

Here’s a video showing what you may be getting into ASSUMING that this is the same blade spoiler your friend has. You already have some holes drilled… it’s a matter of finding a spoiler that matches up with your existing holes. Hopefully this helps before you go to the effort of removing yours. (He gets into that around the 15:15 mark).

It’s highly unlikely you’ll find a wing-type spoiler that is held on with just 3M tape. It’d fly off the moment you hit the highway.

Daisy is my 2025 Mustang GT Premium, and I just took her out for her first photoshoot. She‘s got the 6-speed manual transmission, the GT Performance Pack, Magnaride suspension, active exhaust, and all the goodies.

Daisy has been wrapped in KPMF “Indulgent Blue” glossy metallic. I had them cover the “fake grill” portions of the front bumper, and I think it looks MUCH better this way! (More “classic Mustang” and less “large-mouth grouper fish”). The stripe closely mimics the Super Snake, but it’s not an attempt at stolen valor. I’ve just always liked the style, and it’s far less common than the everyday dual-stipe.

The wheels are Ferrada CM-1’s, and I replaced the center caps with my own custom designed tri-bar Mustang pony logo. She has the RTR hood vent and corner grills. The front splitter is from Air Design, and the rear spoiler is an aftermarket GT Performance Pack clone (not normally available for the convertible, but finally appearing from some E-bay vendors). And speaking of E-bay, the retracted convertible top “beauty side covers” are available there as well.

Inside, you’ll note the Billetworkz “Fusion” weighted shift knob… an almost perfect color match. (I colored in the shift pattern myself… they only offer it in silver). I also added the blue piping to the door panels for some extra pizzazz. You probably can’t see ‘em, but she’s also rockin’ the Tuxmat full-coverage floor mats. They fit as snug as yoga pants, and I replaced the company logo with my own more “Mustangy” preference. And I’m the very satisfied owner of a Saleen instrument panel cowl, which makes it look more like a part of the dashboard, and not a big iPad glued on as an afterthought.

That’s not everything, but those are the most obvious visible mods. I’m no gear-head, and 486 horses are plenty for me, so she’s stock under the hood. But I’ve always liked to make sure my cars stand out enough that I can find them in a crowded parking lot. So what do you think? Does Daisy look good with her makeup on? She goes to her first Cars ‘n’ Coffee on the 5th of July, early in the morning after a late night out watching fireworks.

Beautiful! I'm planning on playing with the look and performance of my new Mustang as well. So all of this gives me some great ideas!

Thanks! She received her share of attention at the Cars ‘n’ Coffee this weekend. Can’t wait to see what you do with yours! Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks! Will do. I'm being cautious right now.....not a car expert and need to learn a bit here. Got her going in at the end of the week for covering most of the car with the 'clear bra' stuff and that interior ceramic based (I think) protectant. Been thinking about maybe a spoiler, but I don't want anything crazy. If there's something more understand but cool, I'll do that. I'm making her a sleeper as far as performance so I don't want her to LOOK like a GT500! :)
