Look at the video in post # 6 from Boschma (the maker of that dual throttle body adapter you installed). He plugged the passenger side. The PCV goes into the intake on the passenger side behind the throttle bodies (from the valve cover straight to the intake). You can see the driver side tube, and it goes back to the valve cover.

Maybe contact Boschma if it still is not clear?

Look at the stock set up on the driver side - the hose goes to the same locations as the video in post # 6.

What’s the point if you can’t tune the car?
It's a racing intake. If you're team racing these cars seriously or a serious road racer yourself and you're in a you're not using the OEM ecu anyway. I'd love to see some runs with this intake... I'm guessing will probably take a hit in the midrange.

This is with headers and a flex fuel calibration.

Check out the video and watch where on the tachometer the car is shifting!

Impressive straight up. So much area under the curve. Guess Ford did leave some low hanging fruit on the table...

I was thinking a Motec, but it seems like a couple of shops are getting on the full on flex fuel mapping with the OEM ecu.

cats?

Maybe I'm off... I thought I saw a 2 x 60mm throttle body setup recommended (reminds me of the similar TB from the IROC Z and Corvettes 1985+ lol

So are the intake ports of the intake manifold opened up since there would be 2 x 80mm OEM S650 throttle bodies feeding the intake manifold?

You are quoting old posts. robvas beat me to posting (see above) but the twin throttle bodies are mounted on a Boschma proprietary adapter.

As for the ECU, they are all tunable now and have been for almost a year.

Steeda has a video of 576 horsepower to the wheels using this manifold naturally aspirated.

Lots of turbo cars are running this manifold and picking up 100 horsepower or so over the stock S650 manifold, too. There are more expensive manifolds that pick up even more (with some including cooling bricks inside to cool off the pressurized air entering the intake).

The Cobra Jet manifold does not lose any horsepower in the rpm range in which we run these Coyotes.

2. And with this one?

DarkHorseTT,

I cannot figure out what connects to that hole in the rear driver side of the Cobra Jet manifold.

Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of good technical knowledge and hands on work on engines on this mustang7g.com forum, no depth of experience. The mustang6g.com forum is completely different in that respect. I would bet if you signed up there and posted your photograph and question you would get some solid responses by persons who have actually installed that manifold on a Coyote engine. Another option might be trackmustangsonline.com. There are lots of hands on guys turning wrenches on their engines in that forum, as well.

Sorry. I wish I could be more help.

done, boss, all is working)

but we have a very hot weather 25 Celsius, so 100-200 only 8.1 (5 Celsius was 7.7)

Shoemaker wrote that we don’t need to change tune as throttles keeps same
Hope it is true

Can you show us how it all hooks up? One of us may follow in your footsteps one day . . .

no problem boss
1. Left (driver) filter wire goes to catch can
2. Right (passenger) filter - you just close the hole with something
3. Inlet temp sensor you need to insert to rear right (passenger) side of Cobra , but I didn’t have a hole there, so we did it by ourselves))
4 the rest sensors from stock manifold you just hide without connecting
5. One more whole in the rear left side of Cobra you need also to close, no one knows why it is there

here You go the link, there You can see everything

Based on my current experience, better keep stock one)))

hey!

I made today first rides on cobra jet on e85… after 2 revisions from Shoemaker, it rides slower then on stock manifold šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I ran 7.7 100-200, now it’s 8.1))

Rob wrote that Cobra gives less power then stock one… is that true? Or maybe to try someone’s another tune?

Your 7.7 run was on a cold day. 5 Celsius is 41 degrees Fahrenheit. You can't really compare that to a run at almost 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Rob, do you mean Rob Shoemaker? He put it in writing that it makes less power than stock?

I mean, Boschma's car was tuned by Shoemaker. (Boschma is the maker of that adapter you installed with the two throttle bodies).

I have not seen anywhere that it loses power compared to stock.

robvas posted the dyno curves above. But click on the link and read the caption under the dyno curves.
