CarPlay wireless connected no audio

So I have a weird issue that is very intermittent.
Some times CarPlay won’t connect at all, other times it connects and I can see map but no audio from maps or Apple Music.
reboot the phone or disable wifi and Bluetooth and re-enable then reconnect.
audio now works.

So i don't have Apple, but maybe make sure your apps and phone have the latest updates ect. Reset network settings ,force stop carplay and clear cache.

it happens to me sometimes

to easily fix it go to settings->General->car play-> my car then turn off CarPlay and on again and it will connect automatically

I find toggling bluetooth off and then on, on my iphone 16, seems to fix all of my carplay issues.

Repair your BluTooth connection. This should have been necessary when you upgraded to iOS 26. And, you should be on iOS 26.2 by now.

You didn't mention what version of Ford software you have? In any case, make sure it is the latest for your specific VIN.
