Carpet Mats for 401A.

My 2024 Premium GT 401A came with carpet mats. Are the mats supposed to have some kind of embroidered insignia? Mine are plain black with red stitching. Carmine red interior - fwiw. Ordered oem rubber mats as well - meh quality. Looking at Tux Mats.

Mine sound like yours. I have a space gray interior. Mats are plain black with a sliver stitch around the edge. No logo or anything cool on them.

Same here. A bit disappointed. Probably the cheapest looking OEM mats I've seen in many years.

Tuxmats for the win! I love them, easy to clean and more than full coverage.

@razorwired .... same here 401A "high package" mats were so-so. medium quality with some gray perimeter stitching. I think Ford knows many owners are going to ditch them for aftermarket so why waste money on them. I bought Weathertech - love the quality of them and they totally protect the carpets - maybe not as classy as really nice carpets but if I go to a coffee and cars I pull the front Weathertechs and put the oem Ford carpets in - at least that way everything looks new.

you get basic floor mats with the 401A option, there are others with sewn in logos and such on the option sheet for more money

I had Weather Tech's in the garage for the car before I got the car, the mats are in the trunk with the ragtop filler pieces and only get put in when I am at a car show or cruise night

Do rubber mats look good in a Mustang? I feel like that's more suitable for SUV's or trucks. Anyone have photos?

The mats that came with my base car were garbage, they started fraying/deteriorating within a week. I have the Weathertech mats in mine and I didn't think I was going to like them because I also thought they were more "truck" mats, but I have to admit I like them a lot more than I thought I would.

The only problem I have with the Weathertech is that they always look dirty no matter how much cleaning you do on them. I'm going to try a product from Kochchemie called Gummifix that is supposed to restore them. My wife has them in her car, whatever you do, don't clean them with Armorall

I personally like the OEM rubber mats. The word "Mustang" is on the mats in a gray color. I personally do not think rubber weathertech or similar brand would look good.
