I'll be following this thread; curious to see how the repair goes and what you decide to do.
From reading your posts, I feel like I've been there before, telling myself that (my next purchase) is some type of rare opportunity, making a big dilemma out of what should be an easy simple car purchase. I've been guilty of rationalizing that I just can't pass on the opportunity, whether it be a rare car, great numbers, do it now before something happens to my trade-in, blah blah blah.
No matter how rare this car is and what the price increase is, this is no longer a great opportunity. The car has been (in my opinion) severely damaged, damaged enough to make it an easy pass
