Bought a 2024 GT Premium as my first car (I’m 15 and just getting started in the car world)

I sure did. Got it sorted by age 20 though. Haven't had big crash since or an at fault one.
I'm kinda proud of that. I wish my insurer was.

A physics teacher told me two things in High School:

1.) In a crash, there are three collisions. The first is your car hitting another vehicle, or similar. The second is you hitting the inside of your car; every inch traveled is hundreds of pounds of impact, hence why seat belts are so important. The third collision is your internal organs hitting the inside of your skeleton. Think on it.

2.) For all Americans, the chance of experiencing a crash or collision, from fender benders to catastrophic impact, in your lifetime is 100%.

If OP is sincere, young man, your first crash will be in your prized Mustang. Lets hope it's a fender bender like the one in my Festiva when I was 16, and not like the one where I totalled my car at 36 with my 2 year old in the car due to a BMW's negligence; both son and I were wearing belts, and with some good reactions born out of defensive driving classes, we both walked away rattled but unharmed.

If you really want to learn to drive defensively and how not to be a dick, take the motorcycle safety class required for the M class license in lieu of state test, and ride a 500 cc motorcycle for a few months. You'll realize that 99% of drivers are clueless morons breaking laws all the time and trying to kill YOU, the unprotected defensive rider. Swear to god getting the motorcycle license made me a much better sports car driver. You MUST learn respect for the death that hovers all around you.

This is wisdom, especially No: 4. Riding bikes hones your self preservation skills, and teaches you to learn to feel what a vehicle is doing. It's called seat of your pants driving, flying is the same I'm told. Awareness, both situational and self, plus anticipation will keep you alive.
Just watch some crash vids, more often than not you can see a situation developing and the drivers are blissfully unaware unti it's too late.

I think while well intentioned, the old guys here have done enough pontificating about avoiding crashes and how to drive. This kid came here because he's excited about his first mustang (gift or not). He didn't come here so people could talk down to him.

I say leave the driving education to his father and whatnever driving school he's required to take. And let's get back to investigating his ownership and finances...

Plus this is our chance to talk shop with a kid in an s650. Since the 650 was supposedly designed for the newer generation I am curious, how does Rambo feel about all the tech and screens?

This car has the A10, do you guys think his transmission fluid level is correct?

I am also curious if his oil level will be barely at the minimum mark.

Also, Rambo, how do you plan to break the car in?

That's interesting. It's common and legal here. A parent insures the car and names the kid on the policy as a nominated driver. The kid will have a much higher excess. (deductible)

It's perfectly legal here too.

I know it's on his dads name. I just shared how old you should be in my country to get it insured since he said he can do it at 18.
