Figured I’d start a thread of my 2024 Atlas Blue Metallic 301A 6spd GT.

I got it Sept 29, 2023. It’s been amazing to drive. I love having a Mustang again. Had a 16 GT PP i had to part with cause of health reasons several years ago.
Mods/things done- 20% tint, Custom ShiftSolutionsCo shift knob, BMR CB762-Jacking Rails-Poly Vertical Links, ZL1 addons mudguards some 25mm spacers. MBRP street exhaust is ordered. Steeda Performance Springs along with BMR BK051 and IRS Alignment kit are awaiting install and I just ordered a Votex quick oil drain plug too.

That's a sharp looking car, I love the matching shift knob.
thank you. Yea it’s great how close in color it is. I didn’t ask for a special color and was hoping it was close. It’s perfect!

Forgot to even mention why it’s called Blue Lightning. I let my kids name it and both them came up with the same name when i asked them individually not knowing what the other said. So i couldn’t say no! We got a decal to christen it too.

Did you have to trim any of the felt under the car when you installed those BMR jacking rails, or was it a simple bolt on installation?

Well got my MBRP street exhaust on. Thanks to Beefcake Racing. I painted it before install with 1200 degree high temp flat black. It looks good under the car being painted. I’ll have to get pics when it isn’t raining. But here is videos of cold start, idled down and a few revs inside with windows up.

Some updates. Second oil change done. Switched from Pennzoil Platinum to this new stuff from Quaker state. I took an oil sample of the PP to send to Blackstone. Will do the same on this stuff. Had about 4700 miles on the PP. I also did some grill mods. Thanks to a video from Murphy’s Law Garage on YouTube. Opened up the intake inlets more. I added this Votex oil change plug too. Should make draining oil easier and less messy. Made in the USA and on Amazon.

Have removed the stock clutch spring. Definitely way stiffer but feel it’s better overall. May try Steedas new 35lb spring just released. Also over 6200 miles now and loving it. Hopefully in a few weeks it will be lowered. Have the parts just need the time.

So I got a UPR catch can installed and put reusable Injen dry filter technology filters in too. Got tired of the oil style.

Great looking Mustang you have there! The mods are coming along well. A little FYI if you want it...I see so many ask which oil to use. Motorcraft, Mobil One, Penzoil, Quaker State.....Have a ton of experience in oil quality and additives. I never comment much at all. As long as it's in spec use what you will. The only thing I caution against is changing brands. Get what you want and stick with it. All oils start with the same basic base. Then they add their individual additives and detergents. Mixing these is where you can get in trouble. Just my .02 if you want it.

My new wheels I got a few weeks ago. Then a pic from today. I like the way the Atlas Blue looks when overcast.
