Binding/creek noise when turning

So I installed steeda front strut spacer kit and steeda front struts. I’m now getting a binding/creek noise when I turn the steering wheel when stopped. Everything is torqued down right I even double checked everything. In the steeda spacer kit I had to add a steel ring around the strut bearing per instructions. Not sure if that would cause it though. I made sure the strut and bearing still spun and moved freely as well. Attached video of sound and the steal ring photo.
