I purchased a Ford Performance DH HP spoiler from LMR approx. 2 months ago for $975.00 + tax.. Agree with above post..... OEM parts if able. One thing to note. The FP version DH HP spoiler & gurney flap are listed under (1) part number which doesn't match the OEM number(s). In other words, if a Dark Horse owner needed to replace their Spoiler and Gurney Flap (Sold Individually) and searched via OEM numbers they would find 2 OEM parts (Spoiler & Gurney Flap) at 4-5 times the cost of the FP version that contains both parts.Ford performance sells an OEM version.
More expensive than the replicas but you won’t need to worry about buying trash.
Even as a huge Mustang fan man I just cannot justify the cost of a new Dark Horse.... the amount of car you can build for that money... is just insane. I just got a brand new 2025 Grabber Blue GT for $40,500 with 6 miles on it. I will sink I am sure around 20k worth of mods into this thing. But it will run circles around a Dark Horse at that point for less money. Far less if I did not care about the looks as much.Just go buy a new '26 DH, then you get the real deal and an awesome car
Big fan of the grabber blue. This car has been modded beyond massive yet would never be anything more than it is, just modified.Even as a huge Mustang fan man I just cannot justify the cost of a new Dark Horse.... the amount of car you can build for that money... is just insane. Sorry your right.Big fan of the grabber blue. This car has been modded beyond massive yet would never be anything more than it is, just modified.
But it would never come close to other higher end 2013 mustang trims even though I have surpassed on this car your estimated $20k mods to your car.
Sure Dark Horse HP is just bigger tires and you just keep believing that.Even as a huge Mustang fan man I just cannot justify the cost of a new Dark Horse.... the amount of car you can build for that money... is just insane. You all believing that car is worth the money they are asking for it is the funniest part. Jesus christ do we have to all be huge fan boys?Sure Dark Horse HP is just bigger tires and you just keep believing that.
Well considering what people pay for a Shelby super snake. I'm retired and had the money but in 2024 the Dark Horse HP was and is the top performing Mustang. So that's what I bought little to old to be a fanboy. I was however old enough to not have to worry to much about the price. I just spend my time enjoying it.You all believing that car is worth the money they are asking for it is the funniest part. Jesus christ do we have to all be huge fan boys?
I cant have a different opinion?
Of course the dark horse has other stuff done to it. Just dont race other cars around that price range or you'll be driving that dark horse home a sad sad person. Its one of the best Mustangs ever made just priced a bit too high for what it is.
