Just upgraded my base stock suspension to a FP track lowering springs along with Steeda's stop the hop kit, camber plates and rear camber adjustment kit.
Car already feels more "planted" and ride quality feels amazing .

Thanks to Trent Musser for his mod suggestions and great quality of work.
I highly recommend whoever wants to do performance mods check out his shop in Sonoma raceway. That guy is an expert in the mustang platforms. https://www.instagram.com/trent_musser/?hl=en .

Ncce Nite Pony. Was going to get one, actually two, but only one was available in 6 speed within 50 miles, so I got a base car. Going to pick another up tomorrow for my daughter, garage it, and put upgrades on it for her graduation in a few months. Hope Procharger has the kits ready by then.

You'll be needing Outlaw 1/2 shafts. They're a good insurance policy if you Whipple it.
High flow cats or cat delete as well, correct?

High flow cats sound good. Deletes make my car illegal. If you're going Whipple high flow cats will be needed. I'm not going high boost. I only want up to 600 Hp.

Gotcha. I'm not worried about laws. IN and KY tend to not give AF. Feel bad for the guys that have to deal with emission compliance.

Nice build so far! Any thoughts on brakes next? If you beat me to it, I plan to upgrade mine to the 6 piston fronts...and 4 piston rears if I can figure out how that will work.

Thanks! I don't have any plans on upgrading the brakes yet. I have 18 in wheels and I kinda like that size. The 6 piston one's won't fit my front wheels and I think I will also have to change the rotors. I need to do some research on that...
If I had to mod the brakes, I would go for some better pads instead of rotors+calipers for now.

Everyone pushes Brembos. In their minds we're Mario Andrete in the Indy 500. Most of us are street enthusiasts, and just need better handling. So we Go for a GT 401A with everything one needs to race from Ford. Which brings us only a few thousand more for a DH. Most of the time, unless one is a dedicated racer, we become to nervous to take the Golden GT out on the road all worried it'll get wrecked by some idiot who has bad reflexes, and may not be insured.

I personally find waste of money anything other than the base GT. When I was shopping I was looking for the base + performance pack . Unfortunately, nobody had it and I didn't want to wait for an order. So I went with the base. The more add-ons the car has the more prone is something to brake. As you said, the more you add the more you are approaching the DH prices...so why not going with DH at first place. With about 47k you have a "track ready" car.

When you get a base GT300A or 301A and you want brembos the stick you wit a Nite Pony package. No way around it. If going that way you may as well dish out a few Gs for the PP. Even then you get things you may not want. My mechanic is putting my STB, K brace, and Switchfire now. I'll get Borla S axle backs later.

Sold my DH Premium and picked to to base GTs Oxford White, and set up exactly the same. Going to hide hers out for a couple months, and add exact performance parts, etc. then she gets it for graduation for commute and fun.
