Put the car up on blocks to do the suspension mods and when I took off the driver's side rear wheel I noticed a lot of grease flung around. Now have to put it back on the ground and drop it off at the dealer, hopefully a quick fix. 5500 miles on the clock, don't do burn outs or track time.

I knew the stock axles were not that great but with stock power and no burnouts that’s pretty crappy. Wonder is just taking off hard and causing wheel hop could have caused it. If it was me I would just buy some gt350 axles and throw in there instead of them putting another stock one in. I think right now you can get them under 400 for the pair.

I just finished having a set of DSS boltless 2000hp axles put in my Whippled Dark horse 6 spd so I'm not worried about breaking them anymore.

You appear to be a good candidate for QuickJacks. Loved using mine, makes things soooo much easier.

I'd love to pick up a set, $1600 on sale right now but just spent a ton of money on a new driveway so it'll have to wait, but it's on the list.

The dealer will fix it for free, but certainly will start looking into something better. DSS are a little overkill for what I need at the moment, but the 350 axles are an option if this happens again, or isn't covered under warranty.
