Are any aftermarket companies making trim to replace the fake carbon fiber stuff in the interior?

The title basically says it all. I'm not a fan of the fake carbon interior trim and wanted to see if anyone knows if there is anything on the way from the aftermarket to replace it. I hate that Ford doesn't even give you another choice from the factory. I would pay to replace it as an option because it's out of place on a car in this price range, IMO.

the hardest part is going to be replacing the door panel fake carbon

here's the inside of the interior door panel, the white part is the cloth/leather/vinyl/alcantara which is supported by plastic

I agree totally with you about the cheap look of the faux carbon fiber. I am definitely in the minority that thinks the look of the 650 interior is worse than the 550. I don’t care for the billboard-like screens, lack of symmetry across the dash and for sure the really cheap looking buttons and trim.

My Mach 1 and Bullitt had the 11” digital dash, which I thought was great, the symmetrical dash “bulges” and I really like manual climate controls and the 4 switches below that. Those switches looked cool and had a quality feel.

I didn't think I would like the screens due mostly to the online pictures. However actually driving the car I have come to enjoy them. I have a Premium 401a and for me the interior is excellent. Of course I am coming from an 03 Premium so it's like a Yugo compared to a BMW. My only complaints are the switch panel which seems flimsy to me and flexes when pushed and the interior black plastic trim on the lower part of the doors which scratches too easily. Other than that, I'm happy as a clam!

So far I've only seen fake carbon fiber panels that go over the stock panels, nothing for a replacement. I'm always on the lookout though.

You're right, compared to you/average age of person here on M7G or M6G. Born late 90s.
