Just traded in my 2024 Mustang for a 2025, guess i didnt pay attention that the top 201a-401a package now does not include the B&O system like it always has, found out after that is now a stand alone option. Is there a quick and easy way to add a sub to this system without tearing everything apart? Would i need to go with a powered sub in trunk and if so what wires would i tap into. Not looking to spend a lot on it, just something to give it a little more

I just posted a thread on the same thing. I wish that the non is prewired. I may tear in to it this weekend.

Let me know how you make out MustangRog,,,,I would love to put in a quality subwoofer! My 2025 Mustang GT Premium 401A package was subless also. Definitely need a way to power the rear trunk sub. Does anyone know if the 9 speaker system are the same speakers used in the B&O system minus the sub?? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah I want to know the same thing I see the stock plug for the stock sub in my car and it looks like I have the stock amp too but when I try to plug in a stock sub it did not turn on maybe it needs to be programmed by dealer to run it ???

Know that if you tap into an existing wire for a sub, prepare to be underwhelmed. There is next to no power allocated to the sub in my B&O system.

If you are going to the trouble, start fresh and tap into a new power supply and run a separate wire to the sub. Do a thread search and find threads from those who have done it. I don't know the details of how it's done so check out the threads and see if it's something you want to tackle...good luck!
