I used to think engineers gravitated towards Acuras, like physicians to Mercedes or lawyers to BMWs. Now I realize engineers and Mustangs make sense, I wonder what other traits are common. Perhaps military service, preference of Bourbon over Scotch, love of dogs + disdain of cats, affinity with shotguns...

Navy Seabees, 2 combat tours, love dogs, hate cats, drink like a fish twice a year, been with the same woman for 35 years. I wish I could say I love American V8's, but I've not had one since I was a teenager and "inherited" an old Granada. That's the main reason for getting a Mustang, I just don't feel like buying another sensible car, it's time for the fuck it alternative.

On 12/30 I got lucky and got a 2024 GT in Carbonized Gray with Red racing stripes and PP, Nite Pony, and AE. 10 speed auto. The dealer had a cancelation and I got Plan X pricing.
