Any reason not to go with Ford Performance Supercharger?

yeah, it’s a limited warranty for sure; tires have to be within 1 size of stock, no slicks ( drag radials too? I don’t remember that one, but wouldn’t be surprised ), no whipple non-approved add ons, etc., etc. But it’s better than nothing.

Sooo…. Anyone interested in or have feedback on the original topic?

I’m leaning toward having the local dealership doing the Ford Performance install. Again, street car.

I already did. Post #17. I think you’re making the right call. The FP kit is all you will want for the street. If you’re comfortable with the dealer then go for it. 👍

Not a big deal, but the Whipple ditches the dual throttle bodies and uses just one. The Stage 2 throttle body is larger than the Stage 1.
Yep. Procharger gives one a 3rd air intake, through the front of the supercharger on the driver's side. Plus it's easier on the motor and drive line at 47 lbs vs Whipple's 160 lbs. Once the Procharger is release I'm getting one for my daughter and wife. I'll get one later.

If you want one, go FP and have the dealer do it.

We have laid out all the reasons not to, there are a bunch of guys that have done it and love the added power.

Have at it, let us know how it works out for you after 6 months or when you try to sell it

don't hold your breath on the Procharger. We are going on to the 3rd model year of the S650 and nothing. Vaporware. I'd be surprised if they release it by the end of 2026.

Go and watch all of Julian bourg’s vids on YouTube and Facebook
He used to be on here also, he did the stage 1 and had tremendous results, all documented, blower install, suspension, axles, exhaust, street drives, pulls, track vids… he left an extensive video library
Murphy’s law garage is the channel name

excellent. Thank you! Watched several. Worth the time. I’ll have the dealer install the FP kit.

The Pro charger website used to work with the questionnaire, you just had to check the box that omitted being emissions legal in all 50 states (California) then it would let you order the part. Just tried right now and I can't get the questionnaire on any of their cars.

This Performance Packs and Components Limited Warranty begins upon installation and registration of the part(s) with Ford Performance and remains in effect for the balance of 36 months or 36,000 miles / 60,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

This is in their warranty it essentially states that it runs from the installation and through the BALANCE, key word is BALANCE of 36 months or 36k miles mind you they take the ammount of miles you have driven since the original manufacturered waranty has started. So if you drove the car say 15k miles that 15k is deducted from the 36k miles on the waranty, leaving you 21k miles on the warantee. It used to be more clearly stated but they made it sound like its from the point of instalation. its not.

Good for you. One additional suggestion. Find out who your tech is and make sure to take good care of him. This way you’re not just another faceless customer.
I'll second this suggestion and say take REALLY good care of him. I self performed my Whipple install approx. 1 month ago and it's an intense job. I had some issues with aligning the heat exchanger that required some minor drilling on the Whipple supplied brackets. No way they were going to fit as-is. Issues like this will arise and I'm not the first to have issues with the heat exchanger brackets. One has to take a lot of precautions to "leave no trace" during install. For me leaving no trace took longer than 2 days. Take good care of the tech so he leaves no trace of being all up in your Mustang's grille literally. I would also request a tech that's done at least one Whipple install. I would be much faster on round 2.

I had a dealer install an FP Whipple and everything went smooth. Ordered them coffee donuts and bagels on the morning of day 3. When I picked it up I checked over what I could see and received all my parts. But the entire time the car was there I was stressing about all the horrible things I read about dealerships.
