Android auto/Spotify glitch

I'm sure this has been covered but I cannot find it on the forum,my music glitches now and again until I went away for work for three weeks,come back last week and it glitches(pauses) the music for a split second every 10-20seconds,I have done a soft reset and hard reset of the infotainment system,I have made sure all my apps are upto date,this only glitches on Spotify and only when connected to the car,sound bar,earphones there isn't a problem.
I have just returned from the dealer and they say it will cost me an hour's labour to see if they can find anything, anybody have any advise I could try.
The auto updates are turned on and all up to date

Does your warranty not covered that?

Apparently not,this was my argument,I said well there's a fault with the system,I've paid for a car to have working android auto and it doesn't,they said the scan/updates are free on a service...that's due in October

Mine was like that but the last week it's been constant wherever I am,built up areas...rural..my garage

Does it do it in certain areas of your city? Check and see that would mean it's the cellular otherwise maybe try a different cell phone. Then you can be sure it's not the system or is.

I have, I have even changed my Bluetooth settings and cleared all cache. It's driving me mad

I've had a mild case of that. It went away. It might have started when I went to lossless, reception issue?
I think there's been a Spotify update recently too.

I swapped mine to lossless and have also started to notice a short pause in songs every 20s or so. its most likely a transfer rate issue due to the higher file size/data requirement of the song.. Try using wired AA and see if that makes a difference

One thing I have tried is turn off battery optimization for AA Spotify & maps,
Will let you all know how it goes.
