First post so go easy on me here...

What circuit in the interior fuse panel would you use for an entry/exit chime box?

Right now powered off 12v cigarette lighter .Plays entry sound with key on. But ACC circuit has a delay so I don't get the exit chime...

I have the hardwire kit for it , but unsure what circuit to use. One person suggested the fuel pump circuit.
I thought maybe perhaps the left screen circuit. Please advise .

My immediate thought is maybe the courtesy lamps that turn on when you open the door. 400A doesn't have the lightup door foot horse thing, right?

Maybe the mirror lights that turn on when you open the door?

Heres the path they take into the fuse block, which Ford calls the BCM for some reason

Vanity Mirror lights are actually the sun screen mirror lights, scratch that

These run through the scuff plates, so maybe this is a decent option if you have it.

That makes the most logical sense to me. I'm sure theres a better way tho

Heres the mirror puddle lights I'd do that fuse, maybe. Otherwise you could intercept that wire at C311A and splice it. I can pull that up if needed

Also, I personally wouldn't tap into the lefthand screen display. I would hazard a guess that those are super sensitive to any sort of voltage fluctuations or inconsistencies. My 2 cents

What is this box? What does it do?
It's a 12v powered and triggered audio playback device.
Mp3 files are uploaded to device/box with a computer.

The box is powered via USB-C and plays a preselected or randomized sound when voltage is sent to the box.
And then a different preselected when voltage at the USB-C is lost.

The hardwire kit is to power it at the fuse box as opposed to an accessory USB or 12v cigarette lighter.

So what do you do with it? It makes sounds, like what kind of sounds? Is this for playing music, like an iPod?
