I have the active stock exhaust on 25 GT. Im looking at either borla stype axle back or corsa xtremes axle backs. I was looking at borla atak but they dont sell axlebacks. Im probably going to keep stock resonator or replace it with a resonated xpipe. I like the tone of corsas but its too loud. I've seen a s550 on youtube with corsa plus resonated xpipe and sounds nice. Not too loud. I tried looking online but dont see anyone with a s650 that have just corsa axlebacks. I have also seen a s650 with borla stype with resonated xpipe. Sounds good. Just want to hear corsa axlebacks first on a s650.

There are a few different paths you can take for an exhaust upgrade. You can swap out your resonator for a midpipe, get a catback, or an axleback. It is popular to get a full catback, especially for active exhaust cars, as you can keep the valves closed but still have better sound, and open the valves when you really want sound. Upgrading your midpipe will give you more sound, and change the tone of the car, but it will not be too loud, which would be good with what you are aiming for. The axleback is also a great choice, as that gives more sound and different tone, but keeps the resonator on to keep the sound tame.

Here is a video comparing the stock active exhaust to a Corsa system:

I hope this helps, feel free to reach out to any one of us here at Lethal Performance if you have more questions or want more details on the options!

You could also have an actual fabricator make you a custom dual exhaust with tig welds.

How much different is a resonted xpipe vs the stock resonator? I was thinking of trying corsa sports axle and a resonated xpipe
