Took my 2024 gt premium in yesterday for an oil change and missing lines on back up camera. They had it all day and could not figure out the missing lines. I was told they reset the system but no change in the back up camera. Now the a/c doesn’t work. This is just another item added to the list of poor quality that plagues this vehicle (or is it an inept dealer/service dept). When it’s works I love this car but since picking it up in May it has needed repairs/service and been unavailable at least 4 weeks since owning it. Also wondering if anyone is experiencing a very loose hood at higher speeds. Car only has 4200 miles on it. I have seen articles where some people try disconnecting the battery to solve the a/c issue.

I had the a/c issue. They found 1 ounce of Freon in the system. Said it didn’t leak out (then where did it go?)

I also had the hood issue. Extend the rubber bump stops under the hood on either end until you’re happy.

My biggest complaint has been the weak bolts. I added a strut brace, spun the bolt right off with a hand wrench and installed lifting pucks, broke one of those bolts too.

I also had an a/c issue. Mine was apparently related to a harness that wasn’t plugged in all the way somewhere.

Hi there! If you’d like additional assistance with these concerns, please send us a private message with the VIN and local Ford dealer so we can investigate further. Thanks!

Dealership found an unplugged connector and the AC started working again. The camera had to be replaced and it took a while to get the replacement but all is well. Lost a total of 6 weeks while the car was at the dealearship this past summer.

My AC stopped working shortly after I started to use it. Same thing for mine - a harness was unplugged. The tech asked me if it ever even worked 🤔

2024 Mustang GT with 1,817 miles and the a/c isn't cooling anymore. The dealer gave me an appointment for two weeks from now, and God only knows how long I'll have to wait. It's incredible that I haven't even had my first oil change yet, and the car is already giving me problems.
