You've got me thinking.....best bang for the buck may be used take off OEM wheels with spacers 🤔
Well... I just measured:

Stud length on a GT Premium Coupe non-PP = 30mm
Relief indention on a 9.0" PP rim = 8mm at most. Let's say 7mm to be safe.

30mm - 7mm = 23mm.

A 20mm spacer will not work. A 25mm spacer will have a good 2mm of clearance. Not much, but clearance is clearance.

I dangled a string with a nut over the fenderwell of each tire.

Fronts are set in 20mm.
Rears are set in 15mm.

25mm spacers will have my tires sticking out 5mm in the front and 10mm in the back.

Wonder how that will look? Too bad 20mm spacers won't work.

I think you should try it and post up the pics - then I can decide what to do 😂

Sunvisor Solutions Sun Visor Label Covers

Date completed: 10/30/24

Purchased from SunvisorSolutions.com

Another simple modification I do pretty quickly is to cover the ugly white/yellow warning labels on the sun visors.

There are cheaper options (vinyl), but these are actually made out of headliner material. The color chart (which you do have to purchase) helps you pick the best color/material.

I'll save you the $5.95, if interested. For our black sun visors, "2350 Ebony" is the perfect match, and you will need a pair of 4.5" x 5.5".

Is it legal? Yep... check their FAQ section.

Do they look way better than the eyesore stickers? Yep! :sunglasses:

I really want to know how these will perform in the heat after being on for some years, or even one summer. I want some, but I don't want to deal with a mess after a year if they don't stay on!

They were on for 9 years on my 2015 in Central Florida. Ever even started to peel off. 😁

This was a surprise on the back window when I was checking over the tint when finished - never noticed it until the tint was on. All seven generations are there.

Why are the push pins removed?
Good eye!

The real reason I have all four tires off is because I'm installing the ZL1 Deluxe Rock Guards and the Form Lighting LED Sidemarkers... and the 4th brake light. All in the same areas, so doing them at the same time made sense. And now I have plenty of access!

Since they are off, I'll rotate the tires and clean the inside of the rims.

Is the top photo before and the bottom photo after ?
Yes, the top is the stock sidemarker with the single LED (maybe two?). And the bottom is the Form Lighting replacement with the entire strip of LEDs.

Is there an easy way to disconnect those lights? Just to disconnect them to get the car through inspection? In my country we are not allowed to have amber light constantly shining.

After inspection I want to have it working again.

Yes... just five plastic rivets holding the fenderwell down, then just reach behind it and unplug it. What does your car have in that location now?

It's all stock at the moment, it's a US car. I just need it disconnected for a day to pass the inspection. Do I get any warning light on the dash when disconnected?

I have the fronts all back together, but I haven't done the rear lights yet. When I disconnect them I'll check for any warning lights - but I doubt there will be any.
