if you have the wireless charger and it just heats up your phone instead of charging it , you can replace it fairly cheaply. you have to remove the wireless factory block and replace it with a custom piece made of 3/4 inch plywood. The factory charger pops out easily with a screwdriver and you just unplug it. router out a cutout for a standard wireless charger from amazon. works great. see pics. maybe someone can make a 3d printed version and sell it on the forum.

Good job!
Was there a way to hard wire it? How was the factory unit energized?

Do you think if a person did this would they be able to hook it up to the power from factory charger? So you do not see the power cable. Other than that looks great.

there is a wiring harness that connects to the factory charger. it would not be easy to hardwire it using that without damaging the harness.

There has been much debate on whether or not the factory charger works. Several members swear it works great. I am one of the majority who has one that absolutely does not work at all.

Can you cut the OEM charger off after the connection? Then you can see what kind of power is coming through the wires ? This obviously may destroy the OEM charging pad , but I guess that won't matter as its junk anyways.
Do you have a picture of the removed OEM charger ? Does it have a pigtail on it ?

It sure would be nice to use that feature, but even with no case on my Galaxy S26 ultra; it overheats phone within minutes.

Nice fix 👍

Well now, TBF, it does heat up the phone really well, which would help if you live in, say ... ALASKA.
