@ZXMustang : Where do you plan to run? I'm guessing Bradenton, because I am unsure what Sebring has 1/4 wise, and Homestead has a 1/8 death trap. PBIR has been closed for a bit now.
Bradenton for sure. Thats my home track.

My custom tune. Shes a ripper. No regrets now that I can tune them. What a killer setup this is now for an otherwise stock car.

About to order a 2026 GT and deciding between Roush TVS, Whipple, and ProCharger. Sound matters to me — did pulling the airbox lids make the whine audible in the cabin with the windows up, or is it still mostly an outside-the-car thing?

There isn’t much whine. I can’t hear any on my Roush setup other than a little at partial throttle below 20 mph. The exhaust also drowns out any audible whine inside or outside the vehicle. They do make a whine kit that you can install to pipe some intake noise into the cabin but it’s not going to improve the sound outside of the vehicle.

Yeah, I looked into that setup but most people have reported hearing more hiss than whine not to mention penetrating the firewall. I was looking to produce the same result but it seems the combination of improved modern superchargers and the sound dampening from ford makes it impossible to replicate. The OP said he was told to run an open air box to improve whine so I wanted to know if they ever made that change and if they did what was the difference.
