220MPH/360km/h Speedometer

for anyone who was looking to make their Mustang have the 220 MPH/360 km/h speedometer from the GTD/GT500, this thread is going to track that. as of posting this thread (May 1st, 2025), i have tested a 2024 Job 1, 2024 Job 2, 2025 Job 1, and 2025 Job 2. all of which have had the same result; the speedometer's looks change to 220, but it acts like 140. i have seen a video where someone got a 220 speedometer in their Mustang (same guy who supposedly got amber DRLs working), and its probably legit, because it was in km/h and went to 360. if you try this right now on your Mustang, you will see that when you switch it to km/h all the numbers disappear and the needle stays in the center. at this time, it looks like the only way to get it working is to upload the GTD software to your modules.

if you wish to test this yourself, you will need to go into the IPC easy mode menu, search for "style", and change "Virtual Speedometer Style" to the fourth one
Style 1 is 140MPH
Style 2 is 160MPH
Style 3 is 180MPH
Style 4 is 220MPH

You can try the following on top of the settings you already had to enable higher speed on speedo.

Ford Performance Variant (FPV) • Speedometer Police Cal (SPC)

720-12-02 *xxx xxxx xx--

Try change it to 4, 8, or C
My guess would be C or 4.

I have 0xxx xx-- which means it's disabled.

a good idea, but no dice

interestingly, the actual property of the 100-220 section filling slower than the rest does work fine. i wonder why the actual speedometer function broke, because it seems like literally every other property from the formatting to the needle movement works perfectly

There should be some other line in APIM or other module to enable the working function of it.
If that guy from Saudi Arabia got it to work, we should too lol.
His GTD Splash screen is just one of the hundreds lines that are not assigned yet.
Somebody who has time on his hands and REALLY want that GTD Splash screen should try it 1 by 1.
His orange DRL are also some lines we haven't found yet.
And this speedo thing is the same.

i dont think this is a matter of hidden things, i think my ability to test this may be limited by the fact i have a 24 job 1, but of the others i have tested, this may be a case where you need your IPC reprogrammed with the GTD software. im still working on figuring out the DRL one

If I understand correctly, you made a list of tested vehicles. There are also Job 2 Mustangs on there right?

yes. both 2024 and 2025. none worked

so it might not work for job 1 cars if he asked this

and i don't know about my car if job 1 or 2 i sent to him the sticker picture and the door plate and still waiting

Well, I have a job 2 and the lines didn't work on mine. So maybe there is a combination of lines to enable that. I hope you have a job 2 car so that the guy can give you the values.

I'm not sure about my car which job but i think job 1

he is never gonna share i think since he sells these as services i just saw in his account he charge 165$ to enable remote start in for territory

If he can do it i will travel to let him do it for me then i will share with you guys my as built + i will pull the data from forscan and we can search for the difference i just want to give something back for this community

I would never pay him but on the other hand, maybe we should and then spread all the info for free to make him pay for his greedyness
