Build and Price Configurator is open on this. The 4 door HO Hurricane would be appealing to pair with our S650 but the CDJR dealer experience is incredibly bad. Night and day from my experience with Ford so far.

The price though... $60k for the 2 Door Plus and $62k for the 4 Door Plus (basically their GT Premium equivalent) is quite insane when a GT Premium can be had for almost $10k less. Similar performance, better sound and better interior imo on the GT.

I was hoping for a 4 door Lincoln based sedan (Mark-10??) on the S650 architecture that would happen in the future, but now I see that with Jim F. and Ford focused on Raptors and other high end trucks plus Ford Racing it is not looking for new vehicle offerings for Lincoln. Therefore, the 4 door US made Charger looks like the next best thing for anyone looking for a large 4 door sedan and also for those that can't pay the money for Cadillac CT4,5 or CT5-V Black Wing.

We’ll see how sales go, Stellantis is still trying to find their way back.

The size of the Charger would be cool for a Lincoln product though.

I noticed they're charging $695-795 for every paint option (except black). Even boring old paint options from the prior gen Challys (like White Knuckle for example, their basic flat white, even that's +$695)

So effectively add that to the starting price, they just wanted to advertise "starts at 49995".

Feels sleazy and repulsive to me as a customer, even if the dollar amount isn't a huge deal

Pretty standard fare. Ford doesn’t include the $2690 in destination charges and acquisition fees in the base MSRP of the Mustang.

I have to say that one of the things I really like about this Charger design is its hatchback. That's something I really wish our Mustangs had. Doesn't look any different closed, but it makes the trunk SOOOO much more useable. I had a Ford Probe back in the day, which is a much smaller car than the 2024+ Mustang, and I was able to fit far more into the trunk than I can fit in my 2024 GT due to its hatchback design.

My wife bought a Ford Probe after we got married. We took some vacations in it, and even fit a Christmas tree in it 1 year. Beautiful blue color, fun to drive car, probably her favorite car until she got the Mustang.
