Cliffs:

Charger is 900lbs heavier than the Mustang (400lbs heavier than a Hellcat)

Mustang stops 22ft shorter from 60 (that's a car length for the Charger). The Charger was on Goodyear all-seasons, though.

Charger did 0-60 in 4.1, but the car ended up slowing down big time, possibly do to heat soak? They're also on 91 octane California piss gas

Mustang did a 4.3 0-60

Charger won in the 1/4 mile, 12.2 @ 115mph, Mustang turned in a ridiculously slow 12.8 @ 111.7mph. No excuses were given. Something obviously wrong with the car or the test.

The whole 'track' review was kind of silly to do with the Dodge as it has all-season and the Mustang has summer tires.

The Charger is a compromise, not just from the Mustang, but from old Charger-Challengers. As an owner of all but the new Charger, I won't buy one to replace what I got because of the 6, weight, style, lack of prestige, and its cost (pertaining to lack of utility). Charger was pushed into the EV, emissions, and higher CAFE future we didn't want. If Stellantis is counting on us dying away, then their poor sales says otherwise.
