Would this work to add a Kicker Key200.4 i have laying around?

Would like to use it to amplify the factory system and utilize its AI DSP microphone feature. Probably upgrade speakers after but figured it would help since the base audio sounds better than expected.

Thanks

Tried it with the harness and a key 200.4 and it seems to work great, need to find a remote turn on, not a huge fan of the dc offset one since i dont trust itll not activate and drain the battery parked.

Sounds significantly better so far, the base soeakers seem to handle it well, noticed theyre the poly style speakers with large magnets instead of the paper cone ones. Need to find a decent mounting spot though and wrap the harness with fabric harness tape for appearance sake.

Good to know I was trying to figure this out. Was the wiring difficult to sort out?

Nope, took probably a hour to heatshrink everything though. Space is tight though had to route the wires up through the dash beside the glove box to have enough space for the radio panel and media bin to mount back up.

May run dedicated power at some point but it seems happy off the stock wiring since its a really small amp, think most of the gains are from the DSP, i did add a 20a fuse inline. I did run a dedicated ground wire though. No interference issues so far. Fairly low power amp with good processing. Do have a set of kicker ks speakers i may or may not add in future, for now running the stock ones

Couldnt get the factory 12v acc wire for the amp to turn it on so have to run DC offset unless you want to tap into anything else.

It does have a pigtail for adding a second amp and a sub if desired, didnt do that but may in the future.

Think it was pretty much all 7mm and snap clips, 10mm for battery unhook.

Car was pretty easy to take apart, wish the screen didnt have to come out to access the ACM but not hard, just didnt want to handle the screen and chance breaking it.

I do like the key amp/dsp seems to have auto protection features for itself and the speakers to prevent clipping. Can be defeated but think ill leave it on.

Saw in forscan the ACM was already outputting a flat EQ on base 6 speaker cars so no tweaks needed. Left everything normal there minus the added welcome lighting tweak.

Did you have instructions on how to remove the screen? If so, would you share?
