Yesterday, I picked up my 2026 Mustang GT and traded in my 2019, so I guess I have the right to now be here! I've been lurking around for a while waiting for delivery!
I guess I have a type!

Welcome! Several of us made the move! Keep your 6g account as I find I still go there to fund certain pertinent info.

Welcome, let me ask you, what do you feel is the biggest upgrade into the S650 and what is the biggest downgrade?

Welcome! I migrated as well from 6g when I purchased my 24. Like others I still appreciate all the information collected on 6g over the years and do search there from time to time. Nice ride BTW !

Welcome to 7g!

It's hard to believe, based on this picture, that the S650 is only 1" longer than the S550.
It's all in the camera angle. 2019 -- 188.4 inches long; 2026 -- 189.4 inches long.

The things I miss, so far, from the S550 are the glasses drawer to the left of the steering wheel, Homelink, and the illuminated door sills. These were standard equipment and are now not even available as options. I'm sure I'll discover more as I become more familiar with my new car.
My new car has many more options than my last one. I now have the Performance Package and Magneride which I haven't even scratched the surface of. It will take some time for me to "personalize" the screens to give me the information I want where I want it. I am hopeful that it will work out. If it does, I will be pleased with that, too. If not, the massive screens will seem like a waste of space!
I'm still taking it easy since I have less than 50 miles on the car. I'll be interested to see what the power-to-weight ratio feels like with a few more horses and the additional pounds.

I absolutely intend to keep my 6g account. There is so much good information there that will be common to both generations

Ford really dropped the ball with dropping these in the 2026. I’m really glad I have all three in my 2025 GT convertible premium. And I love the electronic programming capabilities and the big screens! Hope you will also.
