Ford COSWORTH made 600HP from their 3.0L V8 DFV engine normally aspirated back in the '70s. Smaller doesn't have to be less powerful especially with power adders. I would love to see a twin turbo, 3 or 4 liter V8 in a Mustang.

If you think the S550 is heavy, just wait for batteries and electric motors. It will be quick, and if they go for AWD it will handle pretty good too, but... I would think it might be time to get rid of the back seat, because the OK sized trunk will lose space to batteries.
