I think in the USA it works to some extent. But if the cars have to be shipped there are so many factors that are not really within Ford's control such as ships, lorries, customs, etc. When we ordered our S550 it was supposed to take between 6-12 months but usually 9 months. It actually took 7.5...
S550 was Bremerhaven or Zeebrugge. But Ford no longer ships to Bremerhaven. According to my dealer it is now Zeebrugge, Antwerpen or it goes via Turkey (no joke)
I'm not from Sweden so I can say that exactly. I think they sell it on behalf of Ford so the vehicles have the normale Ford EU warranty. But they probably have an influence on which configurations they can offer. But maybe someone from Sweden can be more specific
There are some new Options in the configurator...here the German one.
- A dash cam (that's not integrated as it looks in the picture)
- All weather floor mats
- Winter wheelset
- Wind deflector for convertible
In UK the Nite Pony package is also available...
Yes you can't just buy the car in another European country. This is a bit more complicated and ultimately usually more expensive. It will be easiest to buy the black headlights separately because the black ones are available in Europe in the DH
The deal with my wife was that the next car would be black. For now it will probably stay black which is why I'm disappointed that the black headlights aren't available for the GT in EU. But the plan is to wrap it later maybe even a bit more crazy.
Same problem here with Kona Blue. But will get it in black and later maybe wrapping it. Found already some wraps that are very close to Kona Blue 😉
But DH in white also cool…Stormtrooper vibes
