Well to clarify my post is about if you're supercharged then the first few gears on the 3.55 diff are useless meaning shift so quick no traction etc.. so the 3.15 diff tends to do better in those applications. If you option for the 3.55 non-pp version it's also not a torsen differential whereas...
I was going to mention this and you beat me to it...... 3.55 for non-boosted and go 3.15 if you're throwing an SC on it. it makes a difference in gears 1-2 on the 10-speed so they're not mostly useless.
I got a slight tic AFTER my first oil change at 1,200 miles. I used 1 container of Ceratec Liqui Moly and it went away almost immediately. Used Ceratec in my S550 too and it worked wonders on my Gen-1 Coyote. Had my S650 since August and currently at about 5K miles and drive as much as the...
Correct. Whichever model takes the place of the Shelby / GT500 on the S650 platform is still very much in the design phase. The last information I saw had it was slated for 2026 but that information is typically secret and not shared externally or with dealers. So much can happen between now and...
I started to investigate this some months back when the vehicle first launched but held off until more data was available. Early on it definitely seemed like MagneRide equipped GTs' we're having different fitment issues than standard equipped PP vehicles. I too have the Steeda springs and had...
@MarkS650GT10 I went through the same roundabout with my GT and the DH when all the ordering craze was going on. In the long run I don't believe it will be special enough although it will hold slightly better value than it's GT counterpart. It being the last ICE platform, maybe there is more to...
Everything @Crew4991 has said is spot on. If you're getting a premium, it's because you're opting for 401A specifically. I really like 301A as a good alternative and the best bang for your buck and you still get them heated. They have more premium features and a more quality feel than the base...
Hello @MikeMustang9 I was finally able to try this out and found this functionally repeatable. I don't believe it is intended in this exact implementation though.
Prerequisite:
- You must have memory
Test Case:
- Go to My Mustang
- Colors
- Select a primary and secondary cluster theme color
-...
As state above User Profiles are glitched right now when it comes to saving settings to it. Delete all user profiles and it will then save whatever cluster theme you prefer. It does not save to a particular memory button.
Hello, @Daydream. I have the same options as you and live in roughly the same area- I'll spare you the grief of going through my experience with engineering, racing and mustangs in particular. I could help you with some references if you could send me an itemized list of things you want done...
No issue! I haven't been able to try out your method yet. The community would be entirely thankful for this work around since Ford hasn't acknowledged or addressed it with a software update yet and it's been a known issue since launch.
key FOBs can be tied to user profiles, and the vehicle will know whose FOB it is when entering the vehicle. The issue is that settings assigned to user profiles haven't been retaining the settings.
This is a nice little work around if it works, I will give it a try later. Root issue for cluster reset stems back to user profiles. If you delete and don't create a profile the settings will save just fine and retain them. Hopefully a fix to come in the future for user profiles if this...
A square setup of winter tires on a slimmer set of rims will perform much better if you're consistently below freezing seeing larger amounts of precipitation. Otherwise, if you see temps above freezing with the occasional dusting, you'll be fine with all season tires taking it easy.
As I left in August, we we're finishing up a lot of the RHD development. Sorry to say that handbrake position will not be any different, but definitely agree it seemed awkward when sitting in it. Hopefully Vehicle Dynamics was able to adjust this. Australian version will be mostly the same as...
I live for this. Really is everyday water cooler talk, and it's the best. Working on global platforms is so interesting due to the complexity and differences every region has. Like for example the S650 EU version will have different headrests than all other S650's due to tougher whiplash...
I was in a strategic role within Engineering working on products being delivered to every region. The S650 suspension has the same hard points as S550 but different geometry in some localized regions to help with performance and tram lining. S650 also gets the latest and greatest MagneRide...
