Went in for an oil change today (mind you I have the typical TPMS sensors like you) I asked the dealer if they could train them and the response they gave me is that they don't have the software yet but they otherwise are functioning (no indication that new TPMS sensors we're needed all together).
Would really love to get to the bottom of this, and perhaps, perform a write up for the rest of the community if need be. Could you forward a contact from the TPMS manufacturer? You may PM if necessary.
Was having some issues with this a few days back and didn't realize a thread had already been started... I wasn't able to get the usual train method working with the old S550 remote for each individual wheel but I did the reset method to re-sync them where the vehicle beeps twice at the end. It...
I didn't take note of the opening there in the wheel wells when doing work recently, and will take a closer look later, but I have noticed much more more dirt, gravel, sand stones, rocks etc.. getting caught underneath the cover in comparison to my S550. Thank you for the heads up.
Bikeman, I think people hear your concerns on it not being the "official" filter but if you take the measurements on the stock filters and stack them up with RU-1037 they're almost identical with exception to the height being slightly less. If anything it actually fits better....
Joe, thanks for this, and glad I could help! I took the wheels off again and had a second look at the fitment- I'm making contact with the strut tower, plenty of room to the top of the wheel well even being 1" lower. my only conclusion is that MR struts have different geometry or camber in that...
HI Joe, circling back to you since you have the same wheel and tire combo- I installed Ford Perf Sway Bars, and Steeda MR sport lowering Springs (ended up lowering it just under an inch .8). The rears fit just fine. I was getting wheel rub on the strut tower for the front passenger and driver...
Thank you for this! I got the Steeda MR Sport Springs installed yesterday but haven't had a chance to test it out yet. Would definitely love to understand how this can help overall drivability and performance whether stock or modified.
If it's any consolement it took two months until I got scheduled, and 5 months til delivery. They're usually 3-6 months on build to delivery I'd say wait it out to get exactly what you want!
I second Roket's comment here. Unless tracking the car regularly Recaro's have no benefit. Standard power seats with all of its functionality are infinitely better in a cruiser IMHO.
