  1. Suspected Shelby American S650 mule spotted testing

This was my first thought too lol
  2. Vinyl Stripe Recommendations

Hi Everyone, Before I go down this rabbit hole figured I would check to see if anyone here had recommendations for some vinyl stripes similar to how Nissan does the red stripes for the Nismo:
  3. 2024 mustang the problem with expectations

It's an interesting blend of variables that created the S650- EV demand, no competitors in the segment, CAFE requirements. I still have the belief the S650 had a different design intent than what made it to the market especially after the latest report pushing out EV's and creating a more...
  4. Noise from driver seat fan.

It does not qualify for a recall. You will NOT be injured in the event your seat blower motor is too loud due to the vent blockage….. Interior Engineering is aware of it.
  5. Noise from driver seat fan.

There is two methods to heat / vent on these seats. Vent is a pull method via an internal fan. There should be a backplate with enough coverage to prevent this user case. If I recall correctly the two systems differ for S650 to S550 and the change didn’t get implemented quick enough on S650. If...
  6. 60th Anniversary Mustang - Coming April 17th

Definitely coming, idk if it will be this event it’s debuted at though. Last I saw it was slated for 2026 which means it might be an auto show reveal.
  7. Love the car, but I have 2 big disappointments

I don't doubt your user case because this is definitely something easily missed or potentially removed. Mine still has it.
  8. Love the car, but I have 2 big disappointments

I do believe a film is left on the screen (under the initial protective shipping plastic) from the factory to protect the occupant and prevent head impact injuries as well as to prevent projectiles, glass shards being dispersed during a dynamic event... mostly regulatory
  9. Love the car, but I have 2 big disappointments

I use this one in mine and it works great for both glare as well as fingerprints.
  10. First OTA software update

I believe you're correct, Road Pilot. The convo I had this morning with groups familiar (I'm a mechanical major so forgive my novice software knowledge) but OTA updates are released from the Ford servers and received by the vehicle GWM over the vehicle cellular and or WiFi connection. The TCU...
  11. First OTA software update

hey there Road Pilot thanks for the help. I was previously in product development at Ford and worked with these groups & likely will reach out directly. From the conversation I had I was told you can take a log dump through engineering mode also by inserting a USB.
  12. First OTA software update

Got my OTA update today (successfully) VIA WiFi with my vehicle in the garage ~50ft from the modem.
  13. 1 set of UHP All Seasons OR summers + winters?

two sets of rims This is the way. (pun aside also what I do)
  14. Hi, all! hows everyones doin

Lane keep and lane centering are two different things in this vehicle. double check Pg.218 and Pg. 232 of your owner's manual and please verify both systems are indeed turned off along with adaptive cruise control (and probably any driver assistances settings for the time being). I would post a...
  15. Hi, all! hows everyones doin

Do you have new wheels? Is your lane centering function turned off?
  16. JediMindTrix’s Black S650 Mustang GT (delivered)

For sure, no problem! I do have some before and after pictures I have not posted. Let me do some quick powerpoint engineering and I'll highlight the difference. You do have to be cognizant of the drop with what wheels you use. I could not go wider than 9.5'' in the front without spacers due to...
  17. JediMindTrix’s Black S650 Mustang GT (delivered)

Love the oxford white with nite pony on this generation! Congrats on your S650. My only regret is I wish I went with the red interior like you- other than that love it so far.
  18. Best lowering springs?

I use the S550 PP2 Rims. They look pretty similar in nature.
  19. Best lowering springs?

I’ve had Eibach and Ford Performance but the Steeda MR lowering springs have been the best thus far. Truly a better daily ride quality and performs better on the track.
  20. Quality is not job One at Flatrock

That is good to hear. Many of the initial issues seem to have subsided now and they seemingly have quality under control. I’m sure some of the other early issues and residual effects stemmed from vehicles sitting for months prior to delivery (mine sat for 3.5 months).
