Engineering test modes have been put into vehicles for some time now through secret inputs. This mode is likely for testing telematics and doing log dumps. Mostly informational and nothing special.
from what I come to understand Flat rock will go idle in June (in addition to the scheduled shut down in July) along with 3 other plants. Makes sense with how the scheduling process works the Dark Horse banks have closed (and general mustang orders not long after towards the end of July/August...
Zero concern with visibility at night, with less than perfect vision. 50% is truly the way to go if your goal is UV and Heat Rejection. I do believe getting 35% would be a little too dark at night but perfect during the day. I have zero regrets with 50% and it’s done an outstanding job thus far.
Absolutely! On my last mustang I had 25% and hated it at night. With 50% I can see great at night and it’s like having the illusion of 35% during the day. I got Xpel prime nano ceramic tint and it’s been great for heat rejection as well as protection of the interior materials. If I did it again...
I've actually been really curious about this one that way you're not swapping out the OEM piece:
2024-Current Ford Mustang Splitter Extension — NYTOP | Not Your Typical Original Parts
2024-Current Ford Mustang Front Splash Guard — NYTOP | Not Your Typical Original Parts
I found these particularly interesting, uses the OEM holes and not that big of a price hike.
This is misleading information- actually the S650 was meant to come out sooner but there was a delay. Suppliers don’t get first hand strategic information like that until it goes concrete where you would know about the cycle planning in advance. My source? I ACTUALLY worked on the project.
This is certainly misaligned. I ended up realigning both of mine when doing my sway bars. Driver side is easy to do with the front cover on but passenger side is much harder to get seated properly.
I can vouch for the PN above (I also have MagneRide)- works great. Just remember to get the TPMS 19 remote (8C2Z1A203A) to go with it to train each wheel.
This is what I was thinking Dxm- possibly the rear seat back high latch being contacted when going over bumps. The NVH would be transmitted through the body and out the rear quarter panel.
Updated the original post to show what the vehicle looks like on S550 PP2 wheels lowered on Steeda Magneride Sport Springs with Ford Performance Track Sway Bars (last picture).
Hello everyone,
Now that spring has sprung here in Michigan, and I have a track event around the corner I am getting around to installing and trying more parts. Yesterday, I installed the following:
1. Dark Horse/Mach-1 adjustable front strut mounts which allow for camber adjustment...
The owner's manual contains all anchor points between both coupe and convertible, and is the best source of this information. It will include car seat guidance as well.
