...on an F-150. This kit is really nice, and seems better made than the ones we had when we were a Roush dealer. The tech said its a lot easier to install, and the wiring was plug and play, as opposed to running wires on the Roush kits. Its not done yet, he has to download the stock tune into a...
We've had several F-250's with pushbutton start stolen off out lot with a cloned fob. One of them was gone in under 5 minutes!
Ravelco is easy to defeat with a potato, cut it in half, pur the flat part over the holes and smack it with the heel of your hand. The juices complete the circuit and...
We use the video as well in our Quicklane, customer seem to love it ane when you show their actual filter coming out or dirty fluids, its easier to sell services. We do it on every car, regardless of mileage. Lot of people don't need anything.
Not common at all, I rarely see leather wear on any stuff that comes across the service drive. I'd have to agree that something is rubbing it. Hands down the best leather care product is Pecards, its a paste that you rub in and wipe off. I've applied it several times to old dry cracked leather...
We sublet all glass work as well, no one at the dealership would have to do anyting except write it up and issue a PO to the glass guy. Even when we had a bodyshop, that's what they did. I'll take warranty work all day long, and rarely do the techs complaint about it either.
I attached it with the double-sided tape and then from underneath laid a bead in the v shape formed by the new and the old spoiler. Been through car wash dozen times or more with no issues.
Some googling of the very limited amount of info that is out there shows that the door speakers are woofers only, not 2 or 3 way speakers, and the uppers, regardless of location, are only tweeters.
Thank you. I can start looking at speakers now, for efficient ones at low wattage. I didn't know what size S550's were, so could not make the connection. I'm guessing these are all round speakers? On my '12 and 14, the door and rear deck speakers were all 4x6 ovals.
If there was a small woofer...
My car has the base 300A stereo, it says there are six speakers. I can see the two in the rear deck, and am guessing the other four are in the doors, two per side. Assuming that this is correct, what sizes are these door speakers? I've had good lunk in past Mustangs with improving sound quality...
I haven't heard about this lamp rider, but something tells me that it's not going to cover what we think it will. I'll have to do some research with the Ford ESP and see what it says but I'm thinking it's not going to pay for this stuff
The BBB is no longer relevant, we don't even take calls from them any more. If you can't get any satisfaction from the dealer, message the Ford bot on this site that is always asking for VIN's and such.
Wow, I'm surprised. Do not get off the phone with them without having a case #, will look something like CAS-123456. Ask for a supervisor and keep escalating until you get a concrete answer as to why.
My old boss used to say that someone careless could "break an anvil in a sandbox with a rubber mallet"
I'm sure warranty will cover it, sending pics is normal especially it its under 3K miles/ 3 months. I had to send pics of my seat adjusting handle that broke off during delivery...
Once the claim is paid, I'm going to grab the light if Ford does not call it back, and see how hard it would be to disassemble and repair it. Might end up making it a side hustle for retirement!
Its common around here for people's F-250 taillights to be stolen, the lights, modules, harness and...
