  1. What is this Battery warning on Ford app??

You just need to reset the BMS when you install the a new battery. Aside from that, there is no science to it. That all changed with Sync 4. The newer tech is much more demanding on 12v batteries. The only way to truly test the battery's worthiness is by putting it on a machine that tests the...
  2. Yet another software update.

The APIM is the biggest update in terms of file sizes.....they can be up to 6GB of data if it is a full APIM update with a new OS. APIM, GWM and TCU updates install while the vehicle is on and running. All other modules require the vehicle to be parked and inhibited.
  3. Yet another software update.

Yes, your vehicle is connected to Ford's cloud via the TCU (telematics contol unit) which is basically a modem. The problem with Ford is that the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and they have conflicting info about these things posted for their customers. Ford tells you that...
  4. Yet another software update.

Yes. My 2021 F150 is well past 3/36 and is still getting updates. As far as when they will stop making updates for improvements, nobody knows. However, once that day comes, Ford will continue to send updates to address recalls and issues. It is more cost effective for them to fix those things...
  5. Software update 4/24/26

7th gen Mustang owners should consider themselves lucky. Ford started OTA's on 2021 model year F150s, Mach E's and Broncos. Those owners were the guinea pigs for this stuff. The issues that those owners experienced were crazy. By the time these cars dropped, Ford had gotten MUCH better at this...
  6. Software update 4/24/26

Aside from Tesla and Rivian, every manufacturer has the same problems with OTAs. It's not a Ford specific problem.
  7. Software update 4/24/26

Oh, the mycolor settings could very well be affected. None of my Ford's have that, so not familiar with it. That message you are seeing is the details of the last OTA that was sent to your vehicle and that will stay there every time you check for updates until another update gets sent and...
  8. Software update 4/24/26

It won't. Presets are saved in the APIM's actual configuration. Only a factory reset will wipe that.
  9. Launch control on A10 using FORScan

Rev match here in the APIM: And IPC: Nothing in the PCM that I can see. Seems like there should be more to it than just this. Good luck to those willing to FAFO and see if this works.
  10. Change lane keep to lane centering?

Oh, not sure at this point. I just looked up 2025 Mustangs for sale on cars.com and found a V8 Premium with an auto and another with a manual to compare these few keys areas that I know have to do with LCA. You are right.....there could be more to it than what I looked into.
  11. Launch control on A10 using FORScan

Looks like line lock can be enabled in the same place you enable the toggle for launch control in the APIM and then enabled it in the ABS here: Edit: And here in the IPC:
  12. Launch control on A10 using FORScan

The toggle for launch control is enabled here in the APIM: There are also some min/max thresholds to set in the APIM here. It would just be a matter of pulling the config of a Mustang that has it to see what to put on there: Also needs to be enabled in the IPC so the animations show in...
  13. Software update 4/24/26

It's not a server issue. The GWM gets hung up in a funky state causing this issue. It needs to be fully de-energized to hard reset it. DIsconnect the negative cable from he 12v battery for 20 minutes and when you reconnect it and check again, it will make it past the spinning pinwheel.
  14. New to me 2024 Mustang FORScan QOL Changes

To be able to use certain touchscreen features while driving, you will need a video-in-motion bypass harness. AFAIK, that is hard coded in there and cannot be changed with FORScan. Naviks makes one for $200, but it does require partially taking apart the dash to access the APIM to install it.
  15. Change lane keep to lane centering?

Lmk if you notice any difference in the behavior. More changes may be needed if this alone doesn't work, but it was the first thing that stood out to me that made sense.
  16. Change lane keep to lane centering?

Not really, because the OP's question has not been addressed. I don't own one of these cars, but from reading through the thread, it seems like the lane centering/keeping functions differ between the manual and automatic transmission vehicles. If that is the case, then it is a matter of...
  17. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Spreadsheet updated to include APIM OTA SYNC-26.2.4.11 first reported here: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/what-is-latest-update.174330/post-3502646
  18. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

I don't think he's coming back at this point, but I assume the PSCM took a crap and it's built into the rack.
  19. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

He can't. He's in the UAE and it'snot supported there. Also FDRS is $120 now for a 2 day subscription.
  20. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

We think the problem is TRON. FORScan can't program TRON encrypted modules. That can only be done with FDRS. Livnitup was going to connect him with someone he knows in the UAE that can maybe help. Hopefully they got it resolved.
