  1. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

Got it....I think I understand the problem; I just don't know how to fix it. Again, it is possible the module got hard-bricked and cannot be fixed. I tagged a few people on your post. Hopefully they can provide some useful information.
  2. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

Ok good.....so you got good files. Is the module getting power and is just not showing up on the network, or is it not getting power? I wish I could be more of help. Tbh, I have not seen many people on this forum with the knowledge you are seeking. Even though you don't have an F150, I would...
  3. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

Did you let FORScan pull the vbf files from Ford on its own, or did you source the files and bootloader from someone? You cannot count on FORScan to pull the correct files or even all of the files. If the PSCM is hard-bricked, as far as I know, there is nothing you can do but replace the entire...
  4. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

He probably doesn't have one in Saudi Arabia. Ford blocks people from accessing FDRS in his region which means people are forced to do things like this when they need to fix something. Because of this, I have some empathy for people that get stuck in these types of predicaments in markets not...
  5. Bricked 2024 Dark Horse PSCM (New Rack) - Module vanished and profiles deleted

Try disconnecting the negative cable from the 12v battery for 30 minutes to fully de-energize the module and see if it picks it up after you reconnect the battery and rescan it.
  6. Haven’t had an OTA update in a long while

No, they don't. Due to the way the OTA process works, the vehicle needs to be turned on in order for it to ping the server and accept the OTA trigger. Depending on the type of OTA it is, an OTA trigger is good for either 14 days or 30 days. If the vehicle is not turned on within that window, the...
  7. Using Forscan and being intimidated by it

I guess it depends on the person. You can argue that someone purchasing a used car would want it to be untouched. If I were to buy a used Ford of some kind and it had some FORScan changes, it would not bother me one bit. I'll tell you what: Whoever ends up with my F150 is going to be very...
  8. Using Forscan and being intimidated by it

This is not always a good idea. Some module updates can contain config changes that Ford meant to send that you would be reverting back by doing this. The truth is, there is no real reason to revert FORScan changes. If I wanted to, I know everything I changed and I can change it back by doing...
  9. Using Forscan and being intimidated by it

No, it will not be a true "as-built" file once the changes you make are synced up to the mothership. In the module config page, if you did not make any changes to any of the blocks and click write all, FORScan will pull the ab from Ford directly.
  10. Using Forscan and being intimidated by it

Nothing wrong with getting a copy of your ab data as it is before you start making changes, but keep in mind that if you scroll to the bottom of the module config page in FORScan, you will see this "write all" button there. All you have to do is click that and FORScan will pull the ab data for...
  11. 2024 Mustang FORScan List / Database / Spreadsheet (by Livinitup)

You need the PCM strategy file name. You can probably use the tuner to get it, but if you're unsure how to do it, message me the VIN and I'll get it for you.
  12. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Known issue. Disconnect the negative cable from your 12v battery for 20 minutes. Check for updates again and it will make it past the spinning pinwheel.
  13. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Added OTA TCU-25.2.8.5 first reported here to the spreadsheet: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/haven%E2%80%99t-had-an-ota-update-in-a-long-while.175386/
  14. Florida Man Crashes Mustang Through Airport Gate, Tries To Steal Plane

Yea, we got a few crazies, but I still love my state. 🤣
  15. Active Exhaust- Fake / Speaker Sound vs Real Engine Sound

Ford enabling ESE on the V8 models is silly to me. That is all. 😂
  16. DISABLING TELEMETRY ON 2024 MUSTANG RTR

Yes, this will disable OTA's. You can just go into the settings and turn data sharing off. There is no need to go full excommunicado, but to each their own.
  17. Software updates, automatic

Many independent shops have FDRS. If he does, he can run the TRON procedure in minutes. That's if it's needed. The code was random and not persistent. If the battery pull worked last time, I would do it again. The update could possibly address the issue of the spinning wheel. The update you...
  18. Software updates, automatic

@sarahestelle Got your message, and something may be going with your car that needs dealer attention. When you disconnected the 12v battery, did you leave it disconnected for at least 20 minutes? if you did, and are still having the spinning pinwheel issue, then a dealer visit may be warranted...
  19. Software updates, automatic

The people that answer the phone when you call Ford read from a script and are nothing more than expert apologists. Ford should train them to actually help people. When you say "more spinning", you mean on the touchscreen in the car? Are you still getting spinning pinwheel when you check for...
  20. Software updates, automatic

That info is from PTS; FDRS does not have the ability to show info on OTA's. I'm really not interested in getting into a debate over this. People can believe whatever they want.
