lol Been a while since I see/hear those terms. They were phased out by LTE years ago. Some carriers still had to use it for a while to be able to operate in areas that didn't have LTE yet. I think those type of networks are completely phased out now, but not entirely sure.
Yes, but you can do that yourself with FORScan. This is the line within the TCU that dictates which country the TCU is provisioned for. This is from a US based vehicle. If you give me your VIN and I check it, this is what it will show.
All you need to know is what the country code is for your...
Yes, for sure that is the case. Just because Ford's are sold there does not mean the OTA process and Fordpass will work there. If you know for a fact that it does work, then I would need the VIN of Sync 4 vehicle in Austria so I can pull the config from the TCU. All you would need is FORScan and...
This just means that if there are pending updates for the BCM, it will not address this particular issue. It will most likely be addressed by an OTA. Very unlikely that Ford will issue a recall or a TSB for something this minor as that will cost them money having to pay dealers to do the update.
The APIM files will take forever to download regardless of what USB drive you use. It's about 6 GB's and download speeds from Ford's servers are painfully slow. Start it when you have some time and let it be. Remember to turn off the 30 minute idle time so the touchscreen stays on while it is...
At this time for these cars, they are all ok to install. The thing is, there isn't much to install. In your case since you got two of the 6 available updates for these cars, you would only be updating the ABS, BCM, PCM and APIM modules. This will take maybe an hour to do depending on how long it...
This is the one I use.

Unless they changed something on these cars, it's AT&T. If you guys have the new 5G modems, it may be a different provider.
Yes, the process is similar, but you don't need such an expensive power supply for an ICE vehicle. A 20amp power supply will work.
If you (or anyone) wants to update the...
Since Sync 4 was first introduced in 2020 with the 2021 F150 and Mach E's, only two OTA's have required wifi to install. In the screenshot I sent you, you'll notice there is a column illustrating if wifi is required or not. 99% of updates will come in through cellular even if you're connect to wifi.
@evant8950 OTA history is below. 6.1.0 was sent to you a few times before it went through, but 6.2.0 went through the first time. No other active OTA trigger for you at this time. There is no way to force an OTA to be sent to you and it is impossible to predict when it will be sent. There is...
Don't bother calling the 800 number. The bag boy from your local Publix knows as much about your car than they do. Attached is GSB 23-7146 sent to dealers advising them of the latest Sync for all Sync 4 vehicles. 23306 is the latest for your Stang.
If it is a connected vehicle which is sounds like is, it reports all DTC's to the cloud. PM me the VIN and I should be about to see the last 60 days worth of codes is has reported.
