OTA 6.1.0 is in your queue. The OTA trigger was created on the server about an hour and a half ago., Go start your car and let it run for 5-10 minutes and that should be enough for it to install.
To answer you question: No, the dealer will not do it and if they do, they will not do it for...
Really? Interesting. And, crappy at the same time. With FDRS, you can update as many modules on as many vehicles as you can within the allotted time period.
Tune is in the PCM, so avoid that one. Or call them and see if they have the updated tune. If they don't have the files, I can get them for you to send to them so they can have it in their database. They'll be ready before it gets sent out OTA.
No OTA in queue at this time, but these are the...
This is what PTS is showing which I don't fully trust. It is not showing a GWM which would be 6.1.0. Remind me tonight to check FDRS to make sure it is there. Without that showing, you won't be able to go through the entire progressing on this car.
Also, please note both the BCM and the PCM...
OTA history is below. You've had a few failed OTA attempts that were resent and went through. You have OTA 6.3.2 in your queue now for the second time since 4/19. Strange, because it shows the files are ready to download, but it hasn't downloaded any of them in 8 days that the OTA trigger was...
lol Well, it kinda is. I know there is a way to pay for access to PTS, but from my understanding, the "average Joe" version is not as good as the dealer access one.
Assuming these cars are similar to the other connected Ford vehicles, you can navigate to a settings menu where you can pick and choose what kind of data you share with Ford. I have certain ones turned off that I don't feel are necessary. All the ones associated with the vehicle itself I have...
Which is why I wanted to start this early in the OTA process for these cars. It's much easier to maintain this way. Getting this info together for the F150 was tedious to say the least.
Sync is the car's OS so to speak. The Sync version can change when you receive an update targeted at your APIM. Not every APIM update will give you a higher Sync version, but only APIM updates can change your Sync version. 6.3.2 was a Sync version, but the other four updates that have been...
Perhaps I'm not understanding what you're asking. Are you looking for software version of a particular module? In the link referenced above by @roadpilot, I included all the file names that changed with each OTA. If you want to know which strategy the module that was updated changed to, it would...
If what you want to know is what version of Sync you're on, you can see that in the "about sync" section in your touchscreen settings menu. If you want to see what updates you've gotten or have pending, I would need the VIN to check that.
Vehicles in the UAE do not have the capability to receive OTA updates. They have be done by the dealer. The servers over there will only show certain updates and you will see vehicles in other countries get updates that you cannot. Send me your VIN and I can show you what I mean.
