  1. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

I agree that it is odd, but having been following these updates since almost day one, this is just how it goes.
  2. Start/Stop failure

@Zig and everyone else: I am happy to say I was wrong about this. I spoke to Livnitup to try and get myself oriented on what is required for this to work, but he says he already added it to the common spreadsheet. It must be a job 2 Mustang or the BCM must have been updated to the latest version...
  3. Start/Stop failure

@Zig I may be wrong about walk-away locking. It was discovered on the 2024 F150 that does not have an RFA that walk away locking can be enabled. Looking into this with the gurus. I don't mean to derail this thread, but since this is where the subject came up, I am posting about it here.
  4. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Actually, I have the VIN of a car that got 6.3.1. I'll upload an updated excel to include it in a few minutes. Edit: 6.3.1 did not update anything; it was only a minor config change to the APIM to remove some chime I guess was pissing you guys off. PTS says that wifi is required for this update.
  5. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

I didn't know about that one. If you got it last week, the details will still be in your OTA dashboard. If you or anyone that has gotten this can send me the VIN, I'll pull up the details in PTS and add it to the excel sheet.
  6. S650 Mustang OTA History Thread

Spreadsheet updated to reflect GWM update ECG-24.2.4.9 first recorded about a week ago.
  7. Stuff you want Ford to fix in the next software update

You only have a few updates pending and show a healthy OTA history. You received GWM update ECG-24.2.4.9 which is new for the Mustangs about a week ago. Nothing to be worried about here. I doubt the dealer would help anyway.
  8. Speaker Sizes

Yea, there is very limited info on the 2024's out there. Crutchfield hasn't added the S650 to the database yet. I think I remember you mentioning that you work at a dealer? The parts counter should be able to get you the part numbers for your speakers and compare them to the previous year. If...
  9. Speaker Sizes

It should be the same 6.5" speakers they have been using since 2015 on the Stangs. My PTS access doesn't allow me to get into the parts catalog to get the P/N to verify. I know you don't want to hear about an amp, but the base system is fully powered by the ACM which doesn't pump out a lot of...
  10. Start/Stop failure

Yea, my F150 detects the fob and deploys the running boards and all kinds of stuff. I can't explain to you why it won't work, but I know the hardware missing for us to have it is the RFA module and I pulled the VIN of a few members here that shared it with me, and there is no RFA module on any...
  11. Start/Stop failure

If I remember correctly, for that feature to work, you would need an RFA module which these cars (nor my truck) have. I believe only the EV's have an RFA and this capability.
  12. Anyone else have OTA updates lagging behind?

It first reported it on 6/15. I am not sure how invasive a dashcam install can be, but I doubt that is what caused this. Unless you notice any issues with your left headlight, I would not worry about it. All vehicles report some kind of fault codes.
  13. Anyone else have OTA updates lagging behind?

Your car is reporting some codes that coincide with possible connectivity issues. The ethernet failure and lost comms codes between the GWM and TCU modules are not normal. This could be due to a possible bad connection between the modules or a faulty module. Your dealer is going to have to look...
  14. Anyone else have OTA updates lagging behind?

Post or send me your VIN. I'll poke around and see if I see anything that stands out.
  15. Anyone else have OTA updates lagging behind?

To check what Sync version you're on, you would need to navigate to the "about sync" page in your touchscreen. If you want to check the last update you got, you see that in the "software update" section by checking for updates. If it says you are up to date, it means you have not gotten any...
  16. For those with the B&O Sound System

You are correct.....they are louder and SQ improved only nominally with what I did. My truck has the 18-speaker B&O set up and it is tuned to favor the front sound stage with the rear door speakers as just fillers. The thing is, the headrest speakers are weak and over-powered by the front door...
  17. For those with the B&O Sound System

They may not be cardboard, but they are Ford branded, they are rated at 25w, and they are total and complete crap. That last part is IMO, obviosuly. https://www.oemfordpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/ford-rear-dr-speaker-jl3z18808rb
  18. For those with the B&O Sound System

+1 on Qobuz in terms of quality. The problem with the B&O systems in Ford vehicles is that the amp says B&O and the system is tuned by B&O, but that's about it. All the speakers are crap Ford Motorcraft branded and made of what looks like cardboard and rated at 26 watts. In my truck, I...
  19. OTA Updates on Import from US to EU?

The country code on that vehicle's TCU is: So this is a good start. Order the adapter for FORScan like the one in the link below and the FORScan software can be downloaded from www.forscan.org. Once you have everything set up, let me know and I'll walk you through what you need to do...
