FWIW - local car wash here disables the horizontal brush that cleans the hood, soft top and trunk when you show up with a convertible. Attendant uses a soft brush and hand washes the hood and trunk before entering the tunnel. It actually does a decent job of washing the car.

I don't know about a clutch and K member, but, my guess is yes. The drive train is fully accessible on the lift. As far as the cost - Mustang owners spend THOUSANDS on accessories, performance upgrades, wheels, finish coatings etc etc - you can pick up a 6000 lb Quick Jack for about 1500...

IF - you want to change your oil & filter with room to spare .... IF - you want to do tire rotations and brake work ... IF - you want access to the full drive train on this car or others you might own .... consider a Quick Jack for all the obvious reasons FWIW
