I have on order a '26 GT Premium convertible & would like to add the HomeLink transmitter

Has anyone replaced their driver's side sun visor with a '24 or '25 to gain the HomeLink?

The car does/will have a lighted vanity mirror which will supposedly allow the HomeLink to work

FWIW - As stated above, you can install a visor with Homelink sourced from Ford or e-bay. The Homelink in my '24 F-250 was only just barely "OK" - I ended up carrying a door remote in my truck. When I got the Mustang, I just took the remote from the truck, put a piece of adhesive velcro on the back of the remote and stuck it on the side of the Mustang console (out of sight). I can now open my garage door from a block away - 10 bucks from Amazon

I got a set of visors from a guy on another forum for like $150 I think.
Install was easy. Unbolt, unplug, reverse process with new visor.

I have the factory homelink visor but the signal was so weak that I use transmitter that came with my gate opener. Only benefit of the HLvisor is that 3 different devices can be programmed, otherwise it's a negative cost to benefit ratio, IMO. 🫤
