  1. Edit gauge selection using Forscan?

I made the Forscan changes to the IPC on my Mustang posted by @rugedraw and; IT WORKED!! Thanks for figuring out the spread sheet coding and posting it for me .... ( I was sure there had to be a way) - the first pic is the screen with the (as built) vacuum boost and inlet air temps, the...
  2. Edit gauge selection using Forscan?

Thanks ... I will give that a shot tomorrow and see what happens ....
  3. Edit gauge selection using Forscan?

Yeah, I looked at that spreadsheet and, although I've made a few changes using forscan, I am LOST with out a specific direction - where to start??? I'm a little surprised someone more "tech" oriented than me hasn't edited the gauge selection on an S650 - probably easier than I can comprehend.
  4. Edit gauge selection using Forscan?

Has anyone made changes to gauge list between the speedo and tach using Forscan? I would like to edit the list ... remove the vacuum/boost gauge .. it is a "flickering" distraction that I don't watch anyway, and the inlet air temp. Removing these two gauges would put my gauges on a single...
  5. Who’s enjoying the warm days before hibernation.

No hibernation here - just "cat naps" for the next 4 months. Sun was shining and roads were dry today, temp bumped mid 50's, took cover off, put car in "R", put car in "D", 70 miles later, put car back in "P", put cover back on .......
  6. Getting Prepared for Winter "Storage".

This will be my first winter with the Mustang, but for decades with my other "toys - hobby cars", even during the "dead of winter", there are days when the sun shines and the roads are clear. On those days, we go for a drive - about. On those other days, the car is garaged and covered. I...
  7. Car cover for storage in side of my garage

Hmmmm ...... Well I went to get the details of my Amazon order and the company no longer makes a "Mustang" specific cover ..... the cover description follows and I can confirm: "This indoor cover is made of Stretch Satin, very soft and comfortable like velvet, so you don't need to worry about...
  8. Car cover for storage in side of my garage

From Amazon I bought a "stretchy" cover for 80 bucks .... (since a lot of these covers probably come from the same Chinese company). It appears to cover as well as the "high priced" covers pictured preceding. I use it only for indoor storage - dust cover - it is not water repellant or thick...
  9. Official CARBONIZED GRAY Mustang S650 Thread

    2026 EcoBoost Premium plus
  10. Looky what arrived today - Convertible Wind Deflector

I too come from motorcycles, and for me it's not how "windy" it is or isn't, or how cold can it get. I don't ride bikes anymore. I drive a convertible instead. Sometimes, top down, with the AC and or heater on. Sometimes I wear a hat, sometimes "not". It's all about personal "comfort"...
  11. Looky what arrived today - Convertible Wind Deflector

I purchased this wind deflector for 40 bucks - facebook marketplace. These fit an Audi A4. They "fold up" - in half then in half again, then into a cover, to easily fit in the trunk with your luggage or "other stuff". The mounting pins are spring loaded and the modification to the Mustang are...
  12. Carpe Diem!

I think "Poseur" got it right ..... Over four decades (my 2026 Mustang is my 39th new car) I have only traded in ONE car. (My Expedition for a Lexus last year). I ALWAYS sell my cars and trucks outright before ordering a new one. I have found over the years a well kept and maintained vehicle...
  13. Ordered 2026

Or ... 5 bucks on Amazon, a piece of velcro, and twice the distance of homelink
  14. Edit center stack aux gauges

This is probably a long shot - owners manual is vague and an online search didn't produce much. Is there a way to "edit" the list of auxiliary gauges that are listed on the center stack between the tach and speedo ... ie trans temp, head temp, oil temp, vacuum, voltage etc. I would like to...

  16. Considering a 2026 Custom Order

Let me add just a little more "senior" perspective .... Mid may I will be driving to Chicago - Lake shore drive to pick up Rt. 66. Then off to Santa Monica. North up 101 to the bay area. East to Lake Tahoe, picking up US 50, continuing east back to S. Indiana (three or so weeks). Top down...
  17. Considering a 2026 Custom Order

Here's another perspective from another 70 yr old car enthusiast. I've owned a number of performance cars over the decades (none as radical as your '55). My decision to buy a '26 Ecoboost convertable in Carbonized gray ... easy to look at, easy to drive, reliable .... how often will I be...
  18. Considering a 2026 Custom Order

After 4 decades of buying new cars (38), my advice on colors .... doesn't matter what color, as long as YOU like it. (who cares what anyone else thinks??) When you walk into your garage every morning, you don't see the engine or suspension, you SEE the color. Outside first, then inside. If...
  19. Considering a 2026 Custom Order

Good luck .. I started looking for a 2025 model in May. It HAD to be Carbonized gray and Space gray with specific options .... nearest car in Tampa. Long story short, I ended up with a 2026 custom order for EXACTLY what I wanted. Yeah probably paid a little more, but, every morning when I...
  20. Considering a 2026 Custom Order

I looked at the pics of your project car and garage, and it seems to me that you are an enthusiast, performance oriented, and knowledgeable. Just buy the car you spec'd .......
