The designers said they lowered the beltline of the S650 by like 3/of an inch... so it makes sense that our eyes see subtle changes. The windows of the S650 are ever so slightly bigger. They claimed to allow more room for heads with helmets on.
Thank you! It is nice to know that I'm not the only one who sees it. And, to also know that Ford didn't just copy and past the DLO and roof completely for the "all new" S650 Mustang. I think that rear quarter window helps modernize the S650.
I am still so "obsessed" trying to figure out if the rear quarter windows are indeed exact carryover or are they shaped differently. Some claim it is exactly the same. But, I study photos and it looks like the bottom sweeps up more sharply.
I agree. It is far from all new. It's a nice evolution but with how much stayed the same or minor changes, it's more refresh. Like many of said, it is more like the change from SN95 to New Edge. And, even the S550 is not all new compared to the S197. I will say at least the S550 from S197 had...
Did anyone else notice that this photo was probably swapped side to side? There is no gas cap/fuel filler....yet the logos on the wheels are facing the correct way. Photoshop detail missed.
