  1. $500+ 15k Miles service - drove from TN to CA to get ripped off!

What the heck is Premium Universal Coolant Conditioner? I imagine it's something like this:
  2. Catch Can

I did this analysis, some parts are the same some are different. https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/ford-performance-2024-mustang-oil-separator-kit-now-available.161107/page-2#post-3368586
  3. Any Whippled Mustangs have hidden trouble codes?

I recall in one of Misha Charoudin's videos in a Dark Horse around the Nurburging Nordschleife that he was having fueling problems. He didn't report on any codes, just he could feel the lack of fuel and speculated it was g-force induced.
  4. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

As long as they have a pinch weld protector so the paint and/or sheet metal don’t get damaged. I use power pad.
  5. Catch Can

Do you have strut tower to strut tower brace? I do, makes UPR difficult to clean.
  6. New recall: water intrusion into BCM and connectors (25C43/25V546)

I am confused. There's two recalls: 1) water intrusion corroding BCM's affecting a lot of cars including my late 2023 '24 MY GT, and 2) LED driver control module failure affecting Mustangs (and other cars) built between March and July 2025. I thought the stop sale was for the LED driver control...
  7. Catch Cans - Do They Really Do Anything Beneficial?

I like them for two reasons, 1) hoping to improve my octane since I drive in very hot conditions in a state where we don’t have 93, which I have to make from 91 and 100, and 2) as a diagnostic since you don’t know if you need one without having one. First downside is you don’t want it to fill...
  8. Catch Can

JLT or J&L? I have the UPR, it’s really well made but difficult to get to for maintenance. I was considering the J&L as it seems easier to maintain. FP is too overpriced for the S650.
  9. Catch Can

Well Ford recommends them for some conditions in the owners manual. Like anything else, it’s a tradeoff. Disregard the self draining feature that’s a misprint from the GT500.
  10. Side grill insert removal. Can it be removed?

Drivers side cover is removed for oil cooler. Passenger side has been removed for other applications, Shelby does for some of their builds.
  11. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

Question is what did the dealer do (or not do) to the OP’s vehicle. Pay dealer price, expect at least factory level outcome.
  12. First Oil Change at Dealer - Sloppy Job

Not to scare you but oil changes in the GT S650 are a little tricky. They may have removed the belly pan to get access to the oil filter. The belly pan contains over a dozen small screws and 2 each of 2 different types of push pins. One of the push pin types (attached pic) does not come out...
  13. OTA Update - HOW Does Ford Do This? - Over Cellular / Wifi ?

That’s part of the reason why I bought v8 Mustang for me and dodge v8 hemi Durango for my wife. At the time (a year and a year and a half ago) I thought that this would be our last chance to be a vehicle with an ICE engine.
  14. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

That's the list of things that affect the oil life indicator, there's other factors that the system isn't intelligent enough to incorporate, for example haboobs.
  15. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Here in AZ USA we have extreme and severe conditions, including heat, stop and go traffic, mountain driving, and dusty conditions (just had a haboob last week). Some of these things cannot be accounted for in the “intelligent” oil monitor (oil analyses can though) nor when the oil filter goes...
  16. Anyone watching WEC, there’s a couple GT3 Mustangs?

    It’s on Multimatic’s website. https://www.multimaticmotorsports.com/new-livery-debuts-for-mustang-gt3-proton-competition-imsa-and-wec-cars/ Idk 🤷‍♂️
  17. Anyone watching WEC, there’s a couple GT3 Mustangs?

Who makes the Mustang GT3’s, Proton? I thought Multimatic makes them. Same for the Ford GT’s and the GTD right? https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/img/me/en/news/2024/6/proton-competition-and-ford-performance-stand-tall-on-the-le-man.html https://www.ford.com/performance/mustang-gt3/...
  18. Anyone watching WEC, there’s a couple GT3 Mustangs?

Currently 1st and 11th. The Multimatic Mustang GT3’s are ahead of the corvettes.
  19. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Not without oil analysis. Some additives and VII’s could be worn out by then. But the amount of effort to do so for the purpose of prolonging the change isn’t worth it vs. just changing the oil.
  20. PREMIUM-VS-REGULAR GAS FOR 2024 GT??

Here’s inside the engine of my 2008 wrangler (had to replace intake gasket) with 100k miles always on full synth changed every 6 months.
